Dr. Marshall May is an experienced, knowledgeable dentist who truly cares for his patients and enjoys getting to know them. In addition to being skilled in cosmetic and general dentistry, he has pursued advanced training in numerous areas such as molar root canal therapy, impacted wisdom tooth removal, orthodontics and advanced practice management.
Dr. May completed his undergraduate work at Lubbock Christian University and then went on to complete dental school at University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio. He practiced in Tyler, Texas, before joining Troup Family Dental in September 2012. He is currently an active member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and East Texas Dental Society.
Dr. May is passionate about missions and serving underprivileged people around the world. He serves at Troup Family Dental's annual Free Dental Day, Texas Mission of Mercy, numerous medical mission trips to Mexico, the border area of Texas, and Arequipa, Peru.
Dr. May thoroughly enjoys the community and people of Troup as well as the surrounding areas. He enjoys serving at church and spending time with his beautiful wife, Erin, daughter, Ella, sons, Jude and Gideon, and friends. Dr. Mays hobbies include running, hunting, shooting, the outdoors and basketball, but he loves snow skiing most of all. Hes a loyal and enthusiastic fan of the Dallas Cowboys and San Antonio Spurs -- even in the low times!

They were awesome! What I loved the most is how very detailed they were when explaining what was going on. Everyone in that office was amazing. The only one thing I have is just how long it took before I was seen even after arriving to pmy appt 15 minutes early.They were very apologetic and the service was phenomenal with great people!

I have been going to Troup Family Dental for several years now and have never had a bad experience. They are always so friendly and treat you like family. They even took great care of my mom who has terrible anxiety when it comes to the dentist. They made her feel as comfortable as possible and did an excellent job on her treatment. 5 out of 5 stars for me!
