I have been married since 1981 and am blessed with two daughters. I am an active member of Rosehill UMC, where my parents have been members for over 30 years. I am a BGSU grad and have over 20 years experience in the dental field as a successful business consultant. I have managed our growing and expanding practice since the spring of 2013.
I have worked in the dental field since 1975, acting as an assistant in the fields of general dentistry and periodontal surgery before transitioning into administrative positions. I was born in Germany and raised in a military family. My father had a career in the Air Force, so we lived all over the world. I have been married since 1976 and have two daughters. My oldest daughter graduated from Tomball High School in 2000 and from U of H with a degree in English literature. She is now teaching at Aldine ISD. My youngest daughter graduated from Tomball High School in 2011. We have lived in Tomball since 1992, and I have worked with Dr. Friedrichs since April of 2003.
I have more than 20 years of experience in the field of general dentistry. I attended UTDB Dental Assisting Program in 1980-81, and I switched from dental assisting to an administrative position in 1985. I have been married since 1981 and have three kids, two boys and one girl. They all graduated from Tomball High School in 2001, 2004, and 2008. I also have two granddaughters and I have lived in Tomball since 2000. I take continuing education in all areas of dentistry each year.
I graduated from dental assisting school in 2007 and am a certified RDA. I have been happily married to the love of my life since 2008, and we enjoy fishing, country music, and road trips on the weekends to the country. I was born and raised right here in Tomball, Texas, and feel very blessed to have the opportunity to serve our community.
I graduated from Coastal Bend College Dental Hygiene School in 2013. I was born and raised in Conroe, Texas, where my parents and four siblings still reside. We are a very close-knit family, and I love spending time with them. I am an active member of the Family Faith Church in Willis, Texas, and feel so blessed to now be a part of such an amazing dental practice. I have a deep passion for dental hygiene and love being able to help people smile and feel confident. I am so excited to be a part of this community and to serve our many wonderful patients.
Skyler joined our office June of 2018 and has quickly endeared herself to our patients with her gentle touch and demeanor. She graduated in 2015 with a Bachelors of Science degree in Dental Hygiene from the University of Texas Health Science Center Houston. She continues to expand her knowledge in the field through numerous educational opportunities to insure she is providing the extraordinary service our patients have come to expect. When not working she enjoys scrapbooking, spending time with her fiance and family and of course her cats, Taylor Catastrophe Swift, GiGi Notorious Hadid, and her dog Braun.
Bella graduated from UTSD Houston with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene in 2012. She has been a valued member of our staff since 2013 and is very passionate about Dental Hygiene. Bella takes pride in expanding her knowledge through continuing education courses and passing that knowledge to our patients. In her time away from the office she enjoys reading, watching movies and spending time with her family. Bella has been married since 1997 and has been blessed with two wonderful boys.
I have worked as an RDA since 1975, and continue my dental education regularly. I am certified in nitrous oxide, oxygen, jurisprudence, cross contamination, and CPR. I have lived in Texas my whole life and have been very fortunate to work in some very professional dental offices and also with great people. This dental practice and team is the best Ive worked with. I have been in Tomball and with Dr. Friedrichss office since 2003 and hopefully will retire here. I have two dogs, two cats, and no children. I love to read and cook in my spare time.
Emiko joined our staff in 2015 and is a skilled and valuable member of our team. She graduated from Concorde Career College in Kansas City, MO as a Certified Dental Assistant and then earned her Texas Registered Dental Assistant license upon her move to Houston in 2007. She like all of our staff members continues to build on her dental knowledge and expertise through numerous continuing education hours each year. Her parents met during the Korean war when her father was deployed as a U.S. Marine to Okinawa, Japan but she was born and raised in Dodge City, KS. She has been married to her husband Bill since 2006 and when she is not in the office they love going to estate sales and enjoying good food. Emiko absolutely loves the field of Dentistry and believes as we all do that she can make a positive difference one smile at a time.
Hannah hails from Lititz, Pennsylvania, where she lived before moving to Houston in 2012. She is very proud to call Texas her forever home. Hannah is a graduate of Remington College, where she obtained her certification as a Registered Dental Assistant in 2017 and she is excited to be part of Dr. Friedrichs staff. She is committed to upholding our long history of delivering extraordinary service and care to our wonderful patients. When not working Hannah is very preoccupied being a mother to her daughter. She enjoys writing, music, being active outdoors and indulging in her other passion: classic film and all things Noir.

Absolutely love this place! I had a broken tooth and needed it taken care of asap. They were kind and understanding and got me in same day. The staff was warm and inviting and the Dr.Tran was just simply amazing. I came back not having seen a dentist for a cleaning in around 15 years. They were so nice and kind to me, very non judgmental and helped me get my teeth back to a healthy state. I don't have dental insurance and they have worked with me. I wish I could give them 100 stars, we need more people like them in Tomball!

First time visit and these guys were great! Everything was very efficient and everyone was very friendly. Felt like they did a good job on my teeth and didn't pressure me In to spending big $$$ on unnecessary procedures. Keep up the great work and I will see you in 6 months!

Everyone was really nice and inviting there. I had an impacted wisdom tooth removed in an emergency situation. I was in and out within about 2 hours with X-rays, examination, and surgery. They were really busy with lots of patients. But took the time to see me anyway because I was in a lot of pain. Thanks everybody :)

I haven't had my teeth cleaned in a while and I felt no judgement from Tropical Dental. Bridget was my dental hygienist and she was the best!! Bridget was very friendly and made me feel so comfortable during the whole experience. Everyone is super friendly and kind. Thank you for taking care of my teeth!

I was searching for a dental office that is organized & friendly. I found this cute dental office and figured I'd give them a try. My first visit was teeth cleaning and we discussed what needs to be taken care of. Came back to get the procedure done & I am still so incredibly happy with this dental office. Everyone was so caring and patient. They always made sure I was okay during everything as well. Thank y'all for everything!!!

For most people even haring the word dentist makes them cringe. I used to as well, I actually don't mind going to the dentist. Kim welcomes me with a smile, knows me by sight. They always get me right back and all the dental professionals are wonderful and truly care! Any problems I can just go up there and they always see me right away. Dr. Tran is patient and really a great dentist, Hannah is one of his dental assistants that is so bubbly and has little tricks to make it as painless as possible! Next week I have my teeth cleaning and I am very happy with all services I have been provided!

I've had several procedures done here and the dr's and staff are amazing and they are very accommodating for unexpected problems. They are always so pleasant to work with and I don't worry about going to the dentist now. Wonderful experiences.

Bad experience with dr Abraham who did a simple filling. Came back twice to adjust the filling and still pain after . When to a different dentist to completely redo the filling which was not covered by insurance , of course.there were no pain before she did that tooth . Do not recommend and not going back

Wow, where do I even start. This dental practice is incredible, I especially love how caring and loving the staff are ! I most importantly love my all time favorite hygienist mrs. bella she's very fun and outgoing, can never leave me unhappy. My favorite part is how she takes her time on cleaning my teeth and making sure I understand the outcome of doing so. I love how honest she is towards me and I thank her for the time she puts in just to make fall in love with my smile all over again. I definitely recommend her if you have a low or high pain tolerance you can barely feel her cleaning your gums so smoothly. I can highly recommend this dental office from years of experience as a patient. They have not disappointed me a single time in over 15 years. My most recent experience was for a fractured tooth/crown procedure. They accommodated me with an appointment the day that I called. I am always greeted like family and feel valued as a client. It was my first experience with Dr. Korloo and her assistant, Hannah. They were efficient and personable and made me comfortable throughout the procedure. From Kim at the front to Brad handling the paperwork in the back, Dr. Friederichs has assembled a staff to be admired by ANY medical office. The hug from Janice and hello from Bridget were bonuses. Great job guys!

Let me start by saying this place is Amazing! The whole interior is tropical themed which brings some fun to a normally dull experience. I had an awesome visit with Hannah and Dr. Korloo. Was 100% painless, quick, and efficient! Not that I would ever hope for more dental work, but if I ever need more, I know who to see! 10/10
