Dr. Trommeter was born and raised in the Park Hill neighborhood where his parents still reside today. His family ties to the area run even deeper as his paternal grandparents purchased their family home in Park Hill on 26th and Forest in January 1960. Dr. Trommeter's grandfather actually worked as a mechanic at Stapleton International Airport for Continental Airlines.
His interest in dentistry began early with his own experience with braces. His front teeth were a little out there and not very straight. While his friends typically had braces during grade school, Dr. Trommeter was lucky enough (sarcasm) to have them during high school. It was worth the wait. Removal of the braces came with an increase in self-esteem and a confident smile. This transformative experience was enough to make him consider being an orthodontist as a career choice. After graduating from Regis Jesuit High School, he went on to attend Marquette University, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Dr. Trommeter graduated summa cum laude from Marquette with a degree in Biomedical Sciences, a minor in Biology, and a new found appreciation for Colorado sunshine. He knew it was time to come home.
Dr. Trommeter attended dental school locally at the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine. During his third year of dental school, he married his high school sweetheart, Kelly. They actually started dating during their senior year of high school shortly after they both had their braces removed! Coincidence?
He was one of seven students in his dental school class inducted into the exclusive National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon, and he was the only member of his class to specialize in orthodontics and accepted a position within the University of Colorados Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics residency program in 2011. His masters thesis studied smile esthetics and variables that influence perceptions of attractiveness.
When he's not at the office, Dr. Trommeter spends his free time caring about the Denver Broncos and Marquette Golden Eagles as if hes a member of the team, and trying to better his wife at golf - shes a former Colorado high school golf champion and division I athlete. His claims to fame include a hole-in-one at Harvard Gulch the first time he ever played golf and being featured as an NFL Game-Changer on CBS during the Broncos run to the SuperBowl.

An amazing orthodontist and staff. I was referred to Dr. Trommeter by my dentist for my son and myself. Invisalign for my son and traditional braces for myself. Dr. Trommeter has been so professional, approachable and knowledgeable throughout both of our treatments. The entire staff is absolutely the same: Abe, Lisa and Julie at the front of the office, and all the wonderful ladies that worked on my teeth! Also, if you or your kiddo need retainers and are a grinder, ask about their retainers for life program. All in all 5 stars for sure!

My son has been coming to Dr. Trommeter for his second round of ortho, he always lets me know that he feels comfortable with how they treat him. I also appreciate the education he and I received regarding his treatment. I definitely recommend this team for anyone needing to go through ortho treatment.

Dr. Trommeter and his staff are absolutely amazing. They make you feel like part of the family from the moment you walk in. They care about their patients which makes the whole process great. My son is part way through his process and is excited to see his smile once his braces come off. In my opinion this is the only place I would recommend for braces for my family and friends.

Dr. Trommeter, Jess, and the entire staff at Trommeter Orthodontics are so kind, knowledgeable, and caring. They really listened to my concerns as an adult patient and made me feel so comfortable. Dr. Trommeter came up with a thorough plan for my treatment and is very dedicated to achieving the results I'm hoping for. They were even considerably less expensive than another well known orthodontist that suggested a plan and price that left me in tears. I am so happy I took the recommendation of my neighbors and started treatment here, my results thus far are amazing!

We have only had amazing experiences with Dr. Trommeter and his staff! Having two kids going through the previsits and close following over years till they transitioned to retainers to hold spaces till ready for braces, then the need for hybrid (metal and Invisalign) till they could transition to all Invisalign - I could not be more pleased with the whole process. We have had tons of scheduled visits (and still do) between two kids at different stages , to emergent visits, to call for advice and we feel so well cared for. Everyone is delightful- easy to obtain appointments with great office hours to schedule around both adult work schedules and our kids school schedules. Highly recommend Dr. Trommeter with his obvious expertise, easy demeanor and always explaining every step along our complicated orthodontic journey. This is a wonderful office all around!

Brian, the owner & expert orthodontist is not only incredibly outstanding in his service, professionalism, specalized orthodontic skills, he shows highly-responsible, sensitive, mindful & caring for his patients' teeth conditions and he would goes above & beyond for every treatment needed to be performed, at least in my case it's totally true, so Thank you Brian so incredibly much for being attentive to my orthodontic alignment process! I was referred here by my hygienist at Awesome dental. My experience so far has been excellent. On the day of my appointment I was very pleased how everyone was so professional. Dr. Trommeter and his team were very friendly. My initial consultation was a breeze. I explained exactly what I'm wanting and the Dr. listened carefully and agreed with what I was telling him. I was lucky someone had canceled their appointment, so they were able to schedule me in to get my braces the next day. On the day of getting my braces I couldn't believe how wonderful the whole staff was. I got my braces in about 30 minutes and literally out less than 1 hour. A big thank you for making my experience very pleasant. Very happy to have chosen this place.
