I grew up here in Aiken and returned in 2007 to practice dentistry with Dr. Taylor Garnett. Growing up, I was friends with the Garnetts and Dr. Garnett let me come into his practice to watch and learn. I always had an interest in dental work and was good with my hands, so he really fostered my interest by letting me shadow him.
I graduated from the Medical University of South Carolina and completed my undergrad at Presbyterian College. I am a member of the AACD, AGD, SCDA, ADA, CEREC Doctors, and have completed the core curriculum at Spear Education. I am also an active member of the Spear Faculty Club.
In addition to my memberships and certifications, I have been on multiple foreign dental mission trips and am an active volunteer in the Aiken community. In 2016, I was recognized as one of Aikens Top Dental Practices with the OpenCare Patients Choice Award.

The only reason this isn't five is I haven't received the final treatment plan yet I was so impressed with every aspect of this practice. The friendliest staff, the amazing technology, and the thorough exam. Dr Buchanan was referred to me by Deidre Vallincourt my realtor extraodinaire! I am feeling very pleased

Great experience. No wait time for dental appointment. Dental hygienist was very nice and professional. She did a great job cleaning my teeth with no pain whatsoever. Dentist did a great inspection. I feel confident that I am in good hands for my dental health.

The most thorough dental exam I've ever had. The staff and Dr. Buchanan really listen to learn what needs to be addressed. I'd give 5 stars if it didn't take so long to get an appointment! Understandable since he's so popular.

My procedure was a tooth extraction and bone graft for a single implant. I was of course apprehensive, but Dr. Buchanan and Brittany were kind, compassionate, professional and thorough. I was ready to go home in about 2 hours, as mine was not a straight forward procedure. My post-op is just fine, relatively pain free and my prognosis is very good. I would highly recommend Dr Buchanan!

Highly recommend! Dr. Buchanan and his staff are always courteous,friendly and professional. Even though I was a new patient, Dr. Buchanan went above and beyond to get me a treatment plan I needed.
