My 11 year old son has been having Ortho done here for 2 years. I would NEVER recommend anyone to this facility. The lack customer service and professionalism at this facility is nothing I have ever seen at a medical facility. It's hard to even communicate about treatment and treatment plans because of the disorganization of the staff. I wish I would have went someone sooner in my sons treatment.

After scheduling my son visit July 2022. I was told that he would have to have surgery on 2 teeth. I also was told someone would call me to schedule his appointment. Never received a call. I called because my son was withdrawn out of public Pre-K because the state did an audit and notice he did not attend a follow up appointment. I called and received an appointment for Nov. 10, 2022 which allowed him to continue school. I called the end of September to the beginning of October to receive an appointment. I WAS NEVER TOLD THAT I HAD TO HAVE A PRE-OP APPOINTMENT! I was not told on the 1st visit or when I called to schedule his surgical appointment. Now here it is October 26 afternoon and I receive a call trying to rush me to get to a Pre-Op appointment, never considering my situation or my work schedule. I requested off so he could make his surgical appointment just so they can tell me his appointment have to be cancelled because I can not make it to a Pre-Op appointment. Very inconsiderate!

I just left after waiting over and hour for my son's appointment that we didn't stay for, and this isn't the first time we waited over an hour+ to be seen. I watched several people come in after me be seen and leave. On top of that they canceled the initial appointment because I wasn't available when they called to confirm it and didn't leave a voicemail to call back. Im very patient, but this is ridiculous. Oh and somebody had the nerve to tell me before I left I need to get there early?! What? Lol, it was an appointment. Omw home I already scheduled an appointment for my son somewhere I can rely on. If yall reading this get it together.

This doctor office is unprofessional, rude and not a good place for kids at all. I don't understand how they cut an insurance plan and didn't not reach out to parents, informing that they would no longer accept patients. They are not helpful in any way and should be reported because it is very clear that this place is no good for medical at all.Honestly they do not even deserve a one star.

I second the change in atmosphere since Dr. King left, the arrogance in the office is impeccable. I was late for my appointment by 15min but apparently it's 10min. I would have understood not adhering to the appointment if it was busy; my child was the only one there. The doctor was up front with the staff. I'm on lyft and sometimes it's hard being on time everytime and that was no consideration. This was my final straw, unfortunately that means changing my dentist as well. I use to love this place, everything in one location. I know I have been late before and I was not turned away and that was the unbusiest I have ever seen that office.

We moved from another state over a year ago and loved Dr.King. She was so sweet and educational, my girls really loved her. One day, after making an appointment for a checkup, we came into the office and was informed that Dr.King was no longer at the office. We had a new doctor, and she was young and nice to the girls so we stayed. A couple weeks ago my 9 yo daughter's asthma was acting up at school during P.E. And we were told that we needed to get her an Asthma action plan signed to be able to have her inhaler at school. I called to make an appointment and was told that they couldn't see us until another 2 weeks until a check up appointment. I then asked if the doctor would mind writing a note to excuse her from P.E. Class until the appointment, I was told no, I have to wait for my appointment. I asked did they take walkins, again the answer was no. My child has asthma and having trouble breathing and I'm met with an callous tone with zero empathy on the other end of the phone that soley speaks about "protocol", not even an ounce of empathy for my child. My oldest daughter needed a prescription filled, and was also told that we had to wait for an appointment. Asked when the appointment would be, they told me 3 WEEKS out!!! I can't remember the girl who answered the phone that I spoke with, her name sounded like it started with a K, but she was RUDE and I told her that her customer service skills level were at a ZERO if she's really concerned with "protocol"! I called another pediatric office and told them my issue, and they got me in the NEXT DAY and expressed concern for my children. I will never recommend this place to anyone. And if you're looking for a doctor's office that cares and that you will be at for years? This one is NOT it!!!

After three years of this being my children's primary care doctor we will be leaving this facility. After Dr. King left the culture changed in this office. I am furious after the experience I've had over our last couple of visits at this office. Today took the cake. In the process of school starting I was told by this office that forms are free the day of service. Not only is it nonsense that they charge five dollars to print a form and an additional $5 for shot records which they EMAIL (paper and ink not even being used) they also charge three dollars for a mask that possibly cost $.10 to make. It's not about the money but the principle and the level of greed it has to be on top of ridiculous health care costs. I've never experienced the type of service with the old staff when Dr. King was the head practitioner. It's unfortunate that the climate has changed this way at this office... if they keep at it the rate they're going I'm pretty sure most of their patients that have been loyal for years will take heed and leave. Notes to the staff, do better. Be accountable. If a clerk or a nurse makes a promise or specifies something to a patron, uphold it and correct the issue within so everyone is on one accord. At the end of the day this is still a customer facing business, if too many people start having the same experiences you won't be in business long. This used to be a place I didn't mind driving 45 minutes to in order for my children to be seen because it felt like a family. While the cold reception and nonchalant attitude of some of the new staff may be "who cares if you go to a new provider we have other patients" understand that this attitude is a cancer and if not taken care of it will continue to eat at the reputation of your business. Two stars because Dr. Virgil is pleasant and some of the ladies are friendly and only doing what they are told.

My daughter has been going here since she was 1 years old. My daughters appointment was at 2:10pm. Her name was not called at all. Everyone who signed in after my child went before my child. I had to go to the desk after sitting there for an hour to see if someone was going to see her. The lady at the front desk stated someone told her my child had been seen. The parents are not allowed in the back. How do i know my child is not touched inappropriately? How is this legal? If someone doesn't have a mask they charge $3.00 for the disposable mask. When you sign in on the computers the screen is so big other patients or non patients in the lobby can see your personal information. Would you all consider a privacy screen be added? I like Paul Mckoy but this is not acceptable

Overall, you get the service needed...but the price gauging on masks is ridiculous! $3/mask? That's too much.

I've been bringing my children to this dental office for about 2 years now and the dentist is fine but I've never really liked their front office. I feel like they were always rude, and nonchalant! My baby was recommended sedation since January, but was never given an appointment & I had enough, so I called the office and the young lady- I believe her name is Remi; I spoke with was unbelievably nice and apologetic. She was so patient with me and showed my child and I so much compassion. She made sure that the person who schedules the sedation appointments was available before transferring me over to them and even called me the next day to make sure that I was taken care of. I hope they continue to hire people like her! She's the reason why I'm rating 5 stars.Thank you!

The service was extraordinary. The service was the best I have gotten in attending a medical facility. From opening the doors on time to the last patient leaving. Everyone was very professional and courteous. Hard to find that in todays world.

If I could give them a 0 I would but that wasn't an option. My daughter took her infant to this office for a high fever and trouble breathing. Her appt was at 11:15am and she arrived approximately at 11:18 am . The front desk personnel took her name and told her that they would check her in while she went and got a mask. She comes back in the door and they tell her there is no grace period, she will have to come back at 1:15pm. This is insane. I called to speak with the office manager who literally said she couldn't send her team to lunch late. I said "mam, 3 minutes would not change the outcome and as a patient or customer, you would have a problem with this too". She was pretty nonchalant which means if you have people running your front office who's inhumane, that makes the whole office the same way because the front desk staff is the 1st contact before coming in contact with the doctor. I will be looking for the baby a new pediatrician and always remember what you do to others, you may have to absorb yourself. God bless!

I generally have a pleasant experience here, but at my son's recent appointment, we waited for about 1 hour and 40 minutes to be seen. What was supposed to be a quick appointment turned into a 3 hour ordeal in a waiting room full of families with toddler and babies. And, prior to the appointment, his appointment was rescheduled twice and it just wasn't the warmest or fuzziest situation. It could have been the B2S season, but either way, I would have hoped their procedures would be better especially working with young and small children.
