In 2002, Dr. Amjad Sheikh started working at the community health center in Laredo, Texas as a fresh graduate. What he saw would launch the vision for Trinity Dental Centers, and his goal was simple: provide accessible, world-class dental care for every patient.

After Laredo, Dr. Sheikh returned home to Houston to serve its underprivileged communities. Patients felt at ease with him because of his honest, reliable, and straightforward approach. Dr. Sheikh would always make sure his patients received the dental care they needed in an accessible and affordable manner.

If I could give negative starts I definitely would!! My daughters appointment time was at 12:00PM, and it took 2 hours for someone to even come in. Then on top of that to be told it would be another 2 hours!!!! So a 4 hour appointment just for fillings is ridiculous!!! I was told after the fact that I could not be in the room with my 13 year old daughter who is already petrified when it comes to the dentist, because she was getting nitrous. This is something that should have been explained to me when the appointment was scheduled over a month ago. The office was well aware that she would be getting nitrous. I will NEVER EVER come back to this dental office. HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!!

Ruby and her staff were amazing. Dr Mustafa had me out in a timely manner. Definitely will be coming back again

Refuse to examine my whole mouth when my whole mouth hurts. Wants me to pick a specific section to have looked at so I can pay for the exam over and over. Finding a new dentist.

This was my first time coming to Trinity Dental Care and my overall experience was AMAZING! I had my first appointment this morning and I was running late so, I made sure to call before arriving to see if I could go ahead and reschedule my appointment (thinking they wouldn't accept me in) but since the office wasn't so busy they informed me they could see me. Once I first walked into the office I was immediately welcomed happily by Ruby and Ruben who then assisted me with my check-in.The atmosphere of the office made me feel so comfortable and the inside of it is so beautiful, a bonus is the music taste the employees have I loved hearing Latin music! The way these individuals work is incredible, I can tell they have a passion for their career by the way they help their clients. The dentist and assistant inform you and guide you with each action they are going to take and make sure you have the best encounter ever! Even while I was having my teeth cleaned I could overhear a few other employees help another patient and just by hearing the client laugh with the workers I just know these individuals attitude, confidence, and personality's leave a impact on their patients. Let me first ask you a question: When you hear that someone is going to charge you $508 per side for gum graphing, what do you think that means? Seriously, please stop here and just think about it... Now imagine you go into this office and the total amount will now cost $2,000. You only wanted to do one side of your mouth for gum graphing. Are you puzzled yet? You should be if you speak English. $508 per side of the mouth does not add up to $2,000. So you ask what happened to the $508 per side conversation. They explained this: "per side is what we called to mean per tooth". Face palm! "Side" does not mean "tooth".. You get it now... I scheduled gum graphing for the upper right side of the mouth (3 teeth in all). They told me at the office a few mouths ago it was going to be $508 "per side" plus anything they were going to use to put me under. I was grateful and schedule the appt for today. When I got there with my dad, who needed to take the day off with me, they said it was going to be $2,000 for today. I was confused and ask why. The above answer was the explanation. Either the office manager (Jessica) does not speak English or the dental office is training their employees to be misleading to their clients. I'll let you pick which one. It was a waste of good PTO for me and my dad! Either way, do not come here for gum graphing! Go to Mexico instead and have them do it...

went in for an referral visit from the sister office in Houston / Denver Harbor office to only be seen for 15 minutes and given another referrral somewhere else thatr wouldnt even see me but i needed emergency extraction per Samar Faraj DDS,MS only to be charged 51$ with no relief cause when i called the referral office guess what they wanted to set me up with another appointment consultation but i have an abcess and was in severe pain which i explained it all with tears in my eyes. i would not recommend to anyone whether you have insurance or not. went back in the office and explained to the staff what the office of the 2nd referral said and was told if the problem persists go to emergency roomand that was it I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TRINITY DENTAL TO NO ONE

***************2021 UPDATE******** My recent experience here was horrendous. I apologize for any followers who tried this office after my initial post. I had an appointment scheduled for 10am. They called and verified the appointment the day prior but when I arrived 15 minutes early as requested the front desk (and supposed office manager) stated I did not have an appointment. I provided her the confirmation email and the contact person who confirmed the appointment. She dismissed this information and stated that if I am not on the schedule then I need to call and make an appointment. I reiterated that I had an appointment but she persisted I was lying and the email was false. I asked to speak to the manager and she said she was the manager. I called corporate Trinity who called back an hour later and offered to reschedule me another appointment with the same facility for two weeks later. I declined and explained that the customer service I received will prevent me from returning to their facility. I themn recieved a call from the porter office manager and she asked why i called corperate she is the manager of that office and has final say so. I disconnected the phone and ignored her subsequent callback. I WOULD NOT SUGGEST USING THIS LOCATION UNTIL THE MANAGER HAS BEEN REPLACED Dr Vega is amazing. She is as brilliant and kind as she is beautiful. She was down to earth with me and told me how it was all while sugar coating the fact I need to lay off the sugar . The facility is beautiful the front desk staff are kind and efficient. The dental assistant Nicole was equally as wonderful. If I could give more than 5 stars to a dentist then this is the facility I would

Long STORY SHORT... I needed a cleaning but the OFFICE that I normally go was CLOSED. Came to the PORTER office and the RECEPTIONIST understood what my SITUATION was and called the MANAGER (Sarah) at this LOCATION. I explained the manager that I had had X-Rays done at the other office and that if having to go through X-Rays again was going to be more out of pocket for me I would have to decline and wait for another day. Sarah explained to me that even when Trinity Dentals is a whole company, yet they are different offices so the X-Rays had to be done but a COMPLIMENTARY VISIT could be applied. I can't thank them enough for their understanding and help! 5

I had a really great experience!! Being 30 weeks pregant I was nervous and the dentist made me feel comfortable and at ease. I was laughing by the time he started my cleaning. Very clean office and they answered all of my questions. I will be back again.

These girls are amazing, the manager was able to work me in and the staff worked cohesively to relieve the pain in my mouth on such short notice. Very pleasant crew to be around and the dentist was very well skilled. Will definitely be returning to this office, thank you for all the help.

The professionalism of this location has not impressed me. And I have not even made it into the business! I was suppose to have an appointment for my son and I on Friday and they literally called the Tuesday (the same week of the appointment) to tell me their location was closed due to renovations. Which they were suppose to be doing these renovations back in February as well. So this situation hasn't happened just once but twice! Them call the week of on a Tuesday does not allow me enough to reschedule for the same day at a different location because they are booked! I've been tryin to get my son in for his dental check up since January and when I explained the situation to the representative she made sure to express little concern how much of an inconvenience they have caused. But went out of the way to express how the staff are having to deal with the inconvenience! I had taken off work the full day for this appointment and now I doubt I can get my son and I in somewhere else with such short notice!
