Known as 'Dr. T' to his patients,Andrew J. Tringas, DMD, MS, is an Orthodontist, creating outstanding smiles for his patients every day. As a 2nd generation Floridian, he was born and raised in thesmall town of Gulf Breeze where his value of true quality of care for his patients, combined with the latest advancements and techniques, was instilled. Dr. Tringas graduated from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in1994 with High Honors, a designation reserved for the top 5% of the class. Dr. Tringas completed his Orthodontic residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 1998 wherehe received his specialtycertificate and an MS in Oral Sciences. Dr. Tringas and his wife, Niki, returned to their beloved Florida the following year where he has continued to practice Orthodontics. Dr. Tringas is committed to bringing the latest innovations to his patients through strong involvement in Orthodontic conferences, seminars and study clubs. He is involved with the Dental Society of Orlando, as well as other organizations and charities in the Orlando area.He is highly regarded in the dental community,but most importantly by the family of patients that has grown so big over the past decade and a half.
Dr. Thas often said his favorite part of the day is watching his patients see their new smile for the first time as their braces are removed; a proud moment for everyone in his office. In his spare time, Dr. Tenjoys spending time with his wife and threechildren. The Tringas family is very involved with their church, where Dr. Tringas is a pastParish Council President and his wife, Niki, serves as a Sunday school teacher. When he and his family have a chance, they love to visit the beach, play golf and tennis, visitlocal theme parks, and cheer for the Gators.
We are especially interested in making all our patients feel right at home! We put your needs first to achieve efficient and comprehensive treatment. Our staff is trained and skilled, and we strive to provide energetic and fun-loving service to each patient. Each member of our team has years of experience in treating patients with the highest level of care. We strive to stay abreast of the very latest in technology and advances by regularly attending continuing education courses and seminars.
Taylor is our Patient Relations Coordinator, She has worked in our office since August of 2015. She is the one planningthe patient party/contests and runs our social media pages.When not in the office, you can find Taylor spending time with her husband and dogs. Anew Mom to a baby girl name Lincoln, she is finding great joy in watching her grow and learn new things.
Owen is our front desk assistant! She has worked in our office since 2021. She is the first face you will see when you come into our office and usually the voice you hear over the phone. Owen loves to spend time with her boyfriend!She enjoys macro photography, hiking and going to the springs! She is currently learning to free dive.
Bonnie is a Clinical assistant at our office. She has worked in our office since July of 2011. When not in the office, you can findBonnie spending time with her husband. They enjoy doing anything outdoors- from golfing, beach trips and even yard work!
Shannon is a Clinical assistant at our office. She has worked in our office since November of 2013. When not in the office Shannon enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and dogs. You can alwaysfind Shannon at cheering on her daughter in the many different sports she plays and hobbies she has!
Rebecca is a Clinical assistant, she has worked in our office since January of 2017. When not in our office you can find Rebecca spending time with her children. She loves to travel and dofun thingslocally! She loves to spend time outdoors!
I wouldn't use anyone else but Tringas Orthodontics! Dr. Tringas is professional, friendly, welcoming and straight forward. I love that his staff is always kind, helpful and super responsive. My oldest daughter went through traditional braces and I did with Invisalign with Tringas. Both were very successful treatments. Appts were/are always on time and all went smooth. My son just got braces on and then one more child to go! When you spend that much time and investment for braces, it should be with someone you trust and respect to carry you through the process. My almost 11 year old daughter had her first orthodontist appointment with Dr. Tringas yesterday. It was a very pleasant experience for both of us so far. Susan the Treatment Coordinator and Dr. Tringas made us feel at ease, yet very professional and definitely know how to talk to kids to make them feel comfortable. My daughter received her treatment plan, mom the financial plan and we are looking forward to our journey together to help my daughter achieve a beautiful, healthy smile. I would highly recommend Dr. Tringas Orthodontics.

Tringas is very helpful and very caring. He even calls to check up on patients and provides after hours, holidays and weekend emergency services. That gave me comfort knowing if anything were to happen. We could just call.

Dr Tringas & his staff provide great care tomy son & now my daughter. Staff is always accommodating & friendly. Dr. Tringas has been especially supportive regarding my daughter's special orthodontic care case & will be watching over her for the next few years.

I had 2 kids under braces with Dr Tringas, he and his assistants are awesome. They did an incredible work with my daughters teeth. They are very attentive to details and her smile is beautiful, she is braces free already and the results could not be better! my son is still under braces but in a short period of time we could notice an increase on his smile. Strongly recommend Dr Tringas and his staff.

Amazing admin team and clinical service. I never felt nickled and dimed. The quality of care for both my kids has been excellent. The office team understands what we need and makes appointments easy to access. Susan has always been wonderful in navigating the world of insurance. I am so glad I have this team for my boys.

After 6 appointments or so over last one year for Invisalign for our son, I am wondering when we actually see Dr. Tringas ? So far he has never talked to us as parents and once I asked to speak to him, all we got was attitude from staff. Not sure if it's because we paid our out of pocket of almost $5000 entirely in advance?

A cut above the rest. Dr. Tringas and staff always take the time to make sure everything is as it should be. After spending 5 years to correct my sons mouth, I left feeling like family and not a customer. Even took the time to reassure out of town company things would be ok when a bracket came off their childs tooth.

The level of care and professionalism shown by all the staff at Tringas Orthodontics is exceptional. I have had appointments at other offices where I have been left to sit in the waiting area for up to an hour before being seen. This is not so with this office; it runs like clockwork. There have been days I've shown up early for my appointment, and I still didn't have to wait.

Our boys are patients at Tringas. Our older son is on the autism spectrum, so we weren't sure if orthodontics were going to be an option due to some of his sensory issues. The Tringas staff is patient and kind, and they make our experiences enjoyable. Our older son has already had a palette expander and is now wearing top and bottom braces, and our younger son has done the same. We are thankful for a practice that "gets it"!

Great experience! Expect total sincerity, honesty, and ethical treatment. I was advised to get a second opinion on my orthodontic work by my dentist. Dr. Tringas was very open and honest explaining what was going on and let me know that more treatment would not necessarily make a better smile. He advised to wait and see how I feel but said my bite is probably as good as it will get. I feel very appreciative he gave an honest response when he could've made more money with a dishonest one. I highly recommend Dr. Tringas. His office staff Teresa and Susan provided exceptional service as well.
