They chose the name Trillium, a three-petaled wildflower because it is the provincial flower of Ontario where Dr. Jason is from and also native to Idaho where Dr. Kim grew up. It also reminds them of who they are as Catholics, their relationship with Christ and the Trinity who is at the heart of their practice and the why of what they do.

It has been a dream for Dr. Kim and Dr. Jason not only to be able to practice together as a husband and wife team but also combine their respective fields of general dentistry and periodontics in one practice. They feel very blessed and honored to be able to continue the legacy of excellent patient care established by Dr. Gregg Sweeney.

It has been a dream for Dr. Young Eun Kim (Dr. Kim) and Dr. Jason Au-Yeung (Dr. Jason) to be able to practice dentistry and periodontics together. They are a husband & wife team that feel very blessed and honored to be able to continue the legacy of excellent patient care established by Dr. Gregg Sweeney.

Dr. Kim was born in Seoul South Korea but she grew up in Idaho. Her first job was at a dental office working for some compassionate and knowledgeable doctors. It was this experience that sparked her dream to pursue dentistry. She completed her undergraduate bachelor's degree in Health Sciences at Boise State University; completed dental school at Indiana University School of Dentistry to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. She further continued her education and training to care for patients with complex health and dental needs in a hospital based General Practice Residency at Indiana University with a strong emphasis on surgery alongside oral surgery residents. She continued to maintain active in academia by holding roles as adjunct professor and staff dentist at Indiana Univeristy School of Dentistry. Dr. Kim is passionate about each patients experience and personalized needs. She realizes far too many individuals are fearful of the dentist so what one patient experiences can be different from anothers. She is committed to constantly seeking out new treatment options for her patients and is a provider of clear aligner (invisalign) therapy as well as botox and dermal filler treatment. She strives to provide the highest quality care in a comfortable environment and every experience delivered with compassion.

Dr. Jason is a native of Toronto, Canada. He completed his undergraduate studies at Queen's University with a bachelor of science degree and then went on to complete his Doctor of Dental Surgery training at the University of Detroit Mercy. He then pursued and completed specialty training in periodontology and implant dentistry at Indiana University where he was the recipient of the Henry Swenson award for clinical and didactic excellence. He has a certificate in periodontics and a masters of science in dentistry where his research focused on dental implant surface technology. He has remained active in academics as an adjunct professor in the department of periodontology at IU School of Dentistry as well as the continuing education department. He is also constantly seeking out training to stay current with the latest technological advances and has recently become certified by the Academy of Laser Dentistry. Additionally he is also a board certified diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and Implant dentistry where fewer than 2% of dentists achieve this distinction.

They understand and empathize that many individuals are fearful of the dentist. Knowing this they offer various forms of sedation including nitrous oxide and oral sedation, and additionally Dr. Jason is able to offer IV conscious sedation. Dr. Kim and Dr. Jason pride themselves on creating a different experience than your typical visit to the dentist.

They hope to provide a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere and deliver the highest quality dental and periodontal services with the latest proven technologies in a transparent and honest manner you would expect from your hometown neighborhood dentist.
