Dr. Ta and the team at Tribeca North Dentistry were absolutely fantastic. Never felt rushed, always felt welcome and knew my smile was in the best of hands. I never had to wait more than 5 minutes to be seen!

What I like best about Dr Ta is that she looks at every patient as an individual and designs the plan that is right for that child. It's not one-size-fits-all: she listens to parents (and even asks about their orthodontic history!) and gets to know the child to create an individual plan that is specific to their needs. If you want to know details - In our case, my child had the typical scenario of a small jaw and too many/too large teeth to fit. Most orthodontists would have just gone with a palate expander without a second thought. But Dr Ta realized that a palate expander would not be the appropriate course of action based on his personality and physiology. She listened to us and spoke to him and realized that his low pain and frustration threshold would make the discomfort of a palate expander extremely difficult and disruptive. She looked at his face and then realized that even expanding his jaw to the maximum size would still not allow for enough space for the teeth to come in, necessitating extractions anyway. She suggested going with serial extractions to eliminate the painful palate expansion process and it has worked wonderfully. We appreciate her thinking creatively, saving my child unnecessary pain. The baby teeth were removed, the permanent teeth that came in were removed and now his canines have dropped into the space and it all looks wonderful. In addition to her skill and experience, the front office staff and orthodontic technicians are efficient and polite and very good at what they do. We are so happy we are with Dr Ta and would recommend her to anyone looking for a smart, creative and compassionate orthodontist.

Excellent ! , From Appointment till we leave the clinic . Everything was seamless, Suman at front desk is amazing very courteous , the whole staff is very good my , Daughter is 3 years old , Dr Ela and Dr Ta was very knowledgeable gave us the wright information , my daughter was not at all scared with teeth cleaning she was happy Dr Ela made her so comfortable n ease n that make us happy , Thank you

I have been seeing Dr. Ta and her team for a couple of years now, and they provide excellent service each visit. Appointments are easy to make and easier to reschedule - her team makes every effort to accommodate schedules and emergencies. I rarely experience a wait upon arrival for an appointment, and usually fewer than 5 minutes, if that. Dr. Ta is thorough and straightforward; she answers any questions you may have about your treatment. She is also flexible with options when available. Both the UES and TriBeca offices are clean, welcoming, and comfortable. I highly recommend Dr. Ta and her team for your orthodontic needs!

As a general dentist, I could not be more impressed with our experience with Dr. Ela and her staff. We took our 2 year old son here and he won't stop talking about going back. Dr. Ela and the staff were kind, gentle, compassionate, and extremely knowledgeable. She gave us great advice on how to get our son to give up his pacifier and one week later he is pacifier free.

My experience with Dr. Ta was great in every way. Her office is incredibly well-run with zero waiting ever and a skilled and gracious staff. She herself is absolutely meticulous in her work .. she kept going with me and my stubborn teeth until we were both 100% happy with the results.

I first met Dr. Ta in 2000 when I decided to take the plunge and get braces at age 32. I had been told the process would be quite difficult by other dentists/orthodontists, and might include having my jaw broken so I had always been hesitant. Dr. Ta evaluated me and reassured me that she could help me, that she had a plan that would work without breaking my jaw. I still count meeting her as one of my luckiest and most life-changing moments. She is an absolute genius! It took 2 years and I could not have been happier with my new smile! She gave me a new outlook on life! Since then I have seen her as needed to check in regarding my retainers, etc and she and her staff have always been kind, welcoming and helpful. I just saw her today after probably 4 years for an adjustment on my permanent retainer and it was an extremely efficient yet warm and welcoming visit, like seeing an old friend. I would highly recommend Dr. Ta to anyone! She is the absolute best highly-knowledgeable and skilled orthodontist! A visit with her can be life-changing!
