Dr. Joseph Hwang is a general dentist with expertise in cosmetic dentistry. At Tri-Valley Aesthetic Dentistry, the doctor and his staff serve the residents of Livermore, California as well as many of the surrounding Tri-Valley communities. Dr. Hwang uses state-of-the-art technology to both diagnose and treat many oral health conditions. Teeth cleaning, whitening, and setting up crowns and bridges are among some of his services. In addition, Dr. Hwang is a FASTBRACES and Invisalign provider. He works hand in hand with his staff to educate his patients on the preventative aspects of good dental health and find the best treatment options for his patients.
Dr. Hwang received his doctorate in dental medicine in 1999 from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. He is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry and the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry. The doctor is also an active member of the American Dental Association. He strives to provide his patients with the most up-to-date dental care possible by attending continuing education classes whenever possible.

I absolutely love the honesty and how nice Dr. Whang is. Every time I go in I feel like I'm visiting friends. Definitely recommend this place! The staff is very nice also.

I love this Practice. Dr. Joe is the best dentist I've ever had for sure. He doesn't make you feel bad for having bad teeth, he answers all of my questions I have (sometimes a lot), and his staff is extremely friendly. I can't recommend this place enough!

Disappointed. I was a new patient, diagnosed with a wisdom teeth, immediately after that the doctor went on a vacation, called so many times with pain to get a referral, no one would attend the call, even the front office. Now even after weeks, called again today for a cleaning, then again no reply. Would be great if at least there is a voice mail which says we are closed. This seems to be unprofessional.

Dr. Hwang continues to go above and beyond in his care of my dentistry needs. He is very caring and makes sure I am comfortable while I am there, especially if I am having a painful problem in my mouth. I highly recommend him. I drive over an hour to see him. That is how much I trust him.

I have been to many dentists over my lifetime. Some were good, some were not, but the care I received from Dr. Joe at Tri-Valley Aesthetic in Livermore was excellent. His staff is personable and professional, always pleasant. He is compassionate, has a real awesome personality, great customer service, extremely thorough ...but best of all, the work he did on my teeth was flawless... beautiful. I used to dread going to the dentist but not anymore, there was no pain when he worked on my teeth, he was very gentle and there was soft music playing in the back ground, creating a calm and peaceful environment. His prices were amazing. I have no dental insurance so that was a real plus. I was so impressed that I am recommending him to all my children, my family and all my friends. Thank you, Dr. Joe, you are one of a kind and a credit to dentistry. I am forever grateful for your care, so again, thank you, thank you, thank you.

Dr Joe and his staff are so easy to work with. The Dr listens to what you have to say and answers all questions. You will never feel rushed. He explains everything that he does so that you understand. I can't wait to see the finished results. He had a lot to do because of the prior work that was done by another dentist that was done poorly and causing me other issues. So far I feel much better. You are always greeted like you're family. I won't go anyplace else. Thank you Dr Joe, Jenni and Jennifer. See you soon for the next step. I'm still so happy with Dr Joe after a couple years his office runs smoothly never have had to wait he doesn't overbook. Gives everyone the same respect he takes his time with you and doesn't do things that don't need to be done right then and there and if it has to he'll start find the cheapest way to do it not that it isn't the best way but it's less expensive and it does work the same.
