Dr. Brown is a native San Diegan having grown up in Poway and Carmel Valley. He attended college at the University of Notre Dame and graduated with honors. Following college Dr. Brown completed his dental school training at the University of the Pacific and graduated in the top of the class and is a member of the national dental honor society OKU. Dr. Brown received his Endodontic degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
As a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Brown is well trained in the most current techniques of both conventional and surgical endodontic care. Dr. Brown has been involved in both the clinical and academic teaching aspect of endodontics as an instructor and lecturer. Furthermore, Dr. Brown has published endodontic research in the academic Journal of Oral Surgery, Oral Medicine, Oral Pathology, Oral Radiology, and Endodontology (Volume 98, Issue 4, October 2004). Dr. Brown was also voted one of San Diegos Top Dentists from 2008-2020.

Came to say thank you to Dr. Brown , Vanessa , & the staff. They took me in right the next day for a root canal and treated me as if I was their own. Much Appreciated.

I was in excruciating, no sleep, no eat pain and Dr Brown saved me. He is a true professional and he cared about my pain enough to stay late and fix me up. I can't thank the team at tri- city enough. If you're in pain call these guys stat.

Would like to give a big shoutout to Dr. Monroe & his awesome team for providing painless & cost effective experience at this clinic. Dr. Monroe performed a painless root canal therapy with complete high tech scans and X rays taken by his wonderful assistant Laura. Dr. Monroe was very thorough in explaining the crucial Details of the tooth and outlined root canal procedure in detail. Performed the therapy in about an hour with 10/10 finesse. They were very genuine and honest with the overall cost of the treatment. It's been more than 24 hours now with no pain or after effects . Dr. Monroe called himself in the evening to check up on me and thought that was really nice of him to do that . I would highly recommend Dr. Monroe for root canal treatment.

Dr. Finn and the office staff at Tri City Micro Endodontics are amazing! They are kind, helpful, and fast. Dr. Finn is gentle, detailed, and extremely thorough with her work. You do not feel like another number, you genuinely feel like a patient. I highly recommend her, and this office!

I've had many issues with root canals over the past few years. I starting seeing Dr. Finn about a year and a half ago. Dr. Finn is an amazing endodontist! She is very thorough and professional. She is also very compassionate and patient. I'm actually no longer afraid to get a root canal because of my comfort and trust in her. She's truly the best!!

I've had many issues with root canals over the past few years. I starting seeing Dr. Finn about a year and a half ago. Dr. Finn is an amazing endodontist! She is very thorough and professional. She is also very compassionate and patient. I'm actually no longer afraid to get a root canal because of my comfort and trust in her. She's truly the best!!

Convinced us that we needed a digital image for my son as our x-rays were not clear enough for them. After spending $200 on a single view (not even panoramic) and later attempting to use this for second and third opinions no one could use the image as his digital image was useless to other specialists.

I would like to 1st Thank Dr. Finn. I was a mess when I came in. I was SO NERVOUS that I was shaking!!. The staff was amazing. From the receptionist to the assistants. Dr. Finn kept reassuring me it was going to be Okay and during the procedure kept asking me if I was Okay. They gave me a stuff animal to hold and I think I squeezed the heck out of it. Today she called to see if how I was doing. I am do so much better and Thanked her. If you have to have a root canal this is the BEST.

Great experience with Dr Sherman. Going into a root canal is never a fun experience, but Dr Sherman was very professional, explained the procedure, minimized the discomfort/pain and it was done and over fairly quick. HIGHLY recommend Tri-City Micro Endodontics and Dr Sherman!

I was extremely nervous visiting Dr. Monroe for the first time because I was referred for a possible root canal, and I had never had one before. Dr. Monroe performed an extensive painless exam complete with high tech scans and X rays taken by his wonderful assistant Marlene. In a completely understandable dialog Dr. Monroe communicated the results and the likely condition that was causing my discomfort. I followed his instruction for treatment of what Dr. Monroe found to be a different problem and I have recovered nicely. The professionals I met at the office put me at ease immediately and I would not hesitate to return for any future necessary procedure.

Two stars for a very nice interior decoration, high tech equipment and general professionalism regarding patient check in and patient education. I needed a root canal asap but needed some special consideration regarding price. Being an out of work (due to coronavirus) medical professional that works locally in the community, I thought I would be quoted a fair price. Nearly two thousand dollars for the root canal, not including the crown. Thats a cost prohibitive price. No way the average person can afford that. I asked again for any type of flexibility regarding payment and was rebuffed by Dr. Monroe. I ended up getting my root canal for 800 and the crown from my general dentist for 600. Thats nearly 500 dollars cheaper than just the root canal alone from tricity endodontics. When I made my appointment on the phone, the receptionist said the consultation was free. When it became obvious I was not happy with the price, not only did both receptionists ask me to pay 150 dollars, but even the Dr. mentioned the 150 dollar consultation fee. I didn't pay it. No wonder the entire parking lot is full of expensive cars. This place is absolutely unwilling to be flexible on price and it shows in their office and their high end only clientele. If you are looking for an affordable root canal, or you are down on your luck and financially debilitated, absolutely shop around before these guys try to rob you blind!
