Dr. Trentalange is a third generation dentist. His father and grandfather both practiced orthodontics. He graduated as Valedictorian from Winchendon Prep School in Massachusetts. From there, he attended Stetson University in Florida and majored in Sociology and History. Upon graduating, he worked on Wall Street with Fundamental Brokerage, earning a series 7 for brokerage. After two years, he decided to go back to school to become a dentist. He attended the University of Kentucky in Lexington to accrue his pre-dental requirements; then, he got accepted to the University of Kentucky the College of Dentistry. Here he received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine and then joined the US Navy. At Camp Pendleton in California, he completed a residency in general dentistry with advanced education in orthodontics, oral surgery and periodontics. With that extra training, he was able to apply for remote duty stations. He and his wife accepted a position in St. Mawgan, England, and it was here that he gained his love for general dentistry and quiet places. After eight years of service, he, along with his wife and child, decided to leave the Navy and move back to the US. They chose the Kennebunk area to raise a family as well as to practice general dentistry. An old antique shop in Arundel was converted and not only served as the dental practice but also as their home for the next two years. It was at this time that they added a baby girl to their family. Dr. Trentalange continues to educate himself in comprehensive restorative dentistry with the Pankey Institute. Throughout his time in the York County, he has worked alongside with many of southern Maines specialists, desiring to help his patients to receive the best dental care available. He strongly believes in helping patients understand their particular dental needs as well as showing them what care is possible with the combination of traditional and modern dentistry. You will find Dr. Trentalange to be friendly, empathetic and easy to communicate with. Outside of the office, he loves to play the guitar, surf, ski, hike and spend time with his family.
Brooke graduated from the University of New England in 2002 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene and has been with Generations Dentistry since 2006. She is interested in all aspects of dental hygiene and has her expanded function certificate from YCCC. She and her husband Mark have two children, Arlo and Claire; they just recently added to the family--a beagle named Ziggy. Brooke enjoys skiing, running, reading and most of all, spending time with her family.
Ansley graduated from the University of New England in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She also has her expanded function certificate from YCCC. She has been with Generations Dentistry since 2013 and enjoys seeing the difference that she can make in a persons oral hygiene through education. Ansley lives in Saco with her husband, daughter and dog. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends as well as being outdoors.
Peyton graduated from the University of New England in 2020 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene. She enjoys building relationships and helping treat patients based on their individual needs in order to help them improve their oral health. Peyton lives in Biddeford, where together with her boyfriend Joey, she enjoys spending time with their chocolate lab Mookie. She loves spending time with her family and friends as well as biking, hiking, and taking Mookie for walks on the beach.
Jennifer was born in Portland, Maine, and graduated from Kennebunk High School in 2004. She is married and has two children, who are Irish twins (born within a years time of each other). Jennifer likes to go camping, hiking and fishing; she is game for trying new things at least once. In 2012, she received her dental assisting certificate from York County Community College and has been working at our office ever since.
Jessica has worked in the dental field since 2001. Over the years, she has worked as an assistant, lab technician and in the office. She is quite versatile and manages our dental office well. She enjoys caring for patients and helping them to understand the need for good quality dental care. Jessica resides in Biddeford with her husband Chris, their 2 children, Emily and Madison and their furry family friend, Lulu. She enjoys shopping, reading and spending time with her kids and husband.
Kathleen joined Generations Dentistry in August of 2018, as one of our office administrators. She is one of the first faces you will see when visiting the office. Kathleen enjoys welcoming all our patients upon arrival and always strives to make them as comfortable as possible. She resides in Kennebunk with her husband Eric and 2 children, Eric Jr. and Margaret. In her free time she enjoys, reading, knitting, skiing and time well spent with family and friends.

I have been a patient of Trenalange Family Dentistry for several years. They have been very respectful of my low tolerance for dental pain. This visit was to restore the bite on four of my front lower teeth. There was no use of novocaine during this procedure. I experienced no pain and no nerve sensitivity. When I asked Dr. Trentalange why, he told me it was because of the laser technology they use and the reduction in trama to the teeth. Bravo! If you are looking for a practice that respects you and is using the best technology, look no further. I would recommend them anybody and I have.

Very professional and friendly employees will make you feel welcome and comfortable. State of the art eauipment and procedures ensure a great outcome for each and every patient. On another note I love the sliding mill type door brhind the front desk as you enter. Nice touch. Update: Now I've had 6-7 visits to get my dentures and I can't say enough about the kind and attentive staff at Trentalange Dentistry. I would highly recommend their service to any new patient looking for a provider.

I have never had a dental appointment as comprehensive as the one I recently had at Trentalange Family Dentistry. The entire staff went above and beyond to make me feel both comfortable and informed about my dental care. Their collective levels of knowledge, experience, and professionalism were impressive. I've been a patient at this wonderful practice for quite a few years and I continue to believe that you would be hard pressed to find better staff, more up to date practices and equipment and a more comfortable atmosphere. You really couldn't ask for more, could you? In short, this is as good as it gets. What more could be said as there are few superlatives to describe this practice that haven't already been expressed in the many thoughtful and caring reviews that have been posted. There are so many happy patients. I'm fortunate to include myself on that list.
