Dr. Lim is a graduate and past faculty member of the Harvard School of Dental Medicine. While at Harvard she received a fellowship from the American Association of Dental Research for her research in the area of bone resorption and formation. In recognition of her achievements she was awarded best thesis from the Harvard Odontological Society and graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Lim has since practiced professionally in the Boston area including the Harvard Faculty Practice, the Cambridge Hospital, and several private practices. Dr. Lim received her M.A. in Linguistics and B.A. in German Literature and Language in Seoul, Korea. Dr. Lim is a third generation dentist, following the tradition of her father and grandfather. Her grandfather was one of the first licensed dentists in Korea. Dr. Lim is a member of the American Dental Association, the Womens Dental Association, and the Massachusetts Dental Society.
Dr. Park practices all disciplines of General Dentistry at our office. Dr. Park received her Bachelors degree in music at the University of Chicago and received her doctorate degree in dental medicine from Tufts University School of Dental Medicicine in Boston, MA. While born in Korea, Dr. Park grew up in the Domincan Republic, which makes her fluent in Korean, Spanish, and English. Dr. Park is a member of the American Dental Association and the Massachusetts Dental Society.
Dr. Mara graduated Summa Cum Laude from the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. After graduation he completed a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry, receiving additional training in all aspects of general and esthetic dentistry. Currently, Dr. Mara works as a faculty member where he conducts research and teaches dental students in both the clinic and the classroom.
While in dental school, Dr. Mara was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society and was the recipient of multiple awards including the American College of Dentists Student Leader Award, the Remo Sinabaldi Award for excellence in fixed and removable prosthetics, and the International College of Dentists Humanitarian Award.
Dr. Mara received his B.S. in biology from Boston College where he studied abroad for a semester in Quito, Ecuador. Following his graduation from college, Dr. Mara spent two years in the Mississippi Delta as a Teach for America Corps member before pursing dentistry.
Dr. Alan Tang did his undergraduate work at University of California, San Diego, where he received a Bachelors degree in microbiology. From there he went to University of California, Los Angeles School of Dentistry, and received his endodontics training at Boston University. I've been going to Tremont Dental for many years. It is a well run office whose staff provide exceptional dental care. My children also come here now to get their teeth cleaned after aging out of their pediatric dentist. They provide a soft touch to a difficult job.

I have been going here for many years and think that the folks here are great. My hygienist, Cindy, is exceptional. She is kind, thorough and attentive. The place also seems to be doing a great job with cleanliness and COVID, which made me feel safe while I was there.

I cannot offer enough praise to Dr Og Lim and her team. I have been going to Tremont Dental for ... oh gosh! I can't remember?!? 10+ years? More? Everyone from the receptionist/office manager to the hygienists and doctors are exceptionally professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The office itself is incredibly clean while also relaxing. FIVE STARS all the way around *****

I really hate writing this review, because I was a VERY happy patient for 7 years. Last year, that changed. Without any discussion with someone in the office, I was hit with a $600 bill. When I discussed it with them, I was told my insurance wouldn't cover the procedure. When I called my insurance company, they said the claim was filed incorrectly by the office. No problem, everyone makes mistakes. But it took MULTIPLE more calls to even get them to refile the claim. I was assured that if there were any more issues, they'd call me back. Well, it looks like that was an empty gesture. I never received a call back, and I'm still on the hook for the bill. Because I don't want my credit taking a hit, I paid the bill, and I asked for the Dr. Dempsey or Dr. Park to call me back to discuss further. When I tried to call back after not hearing anything, I was hung up on. My displeasure is with the front office, not the doctors. But this is shocking. I really liked coming here, but Orlando's behavior has forced me to get care elsewhere. I still would like that call back from Dr. Park or Dr. Demspey.

Whomever is working your front desk is wildly unhelpful and very dismissing. While calling to try and find a new dentist since moving to Boston and was told you are not taking new patients, I asked do you have any recommendations of other dentists in our neighborhood or anyone you have been sending clients who may need emergency dental work done. She responded 'i don't know and then said yea i just like don't know, look up other dentists around the street.' After following up trying to understand that she really didn't have a recommendation or a timeline for when they would be accepting new clients, she just kept saying 'yea like i don't know.' This tells me more than enough about the service that I would have received if I was a patient there and happy to take my business elsewhere. The other recent reviews on the customer service of their front office staff should be red flags all around of how patients are treated

Friendly reception staff, kind, thorough dentists and technicians, lovely atmosphere, relaxing music, AND toilets with bidets! What more could you ask for! All CDC covid protocols are followed so I feel perfectly safe.

Next year will be 20 years as a patient of Tremont Dental Care, with about 10 years with Cindy. Cindy is the best. I absolutely adore her. And I look forward to getting my teeth cleaned. It is always a very pleasant experience. Dr. Park who has seen me for the last few years is also excellent and a joy to see. All the staff are very welcoming and have become very familiar. I happen to have very strong teeth so the vast majority of my care is just cleaning (which is fine by me :) ). Love my Dental team.

I have had six decades of dental care throughout my life. None better than Tremont Dental Care. From the staff to the environment to the medical care, all of it is top notch. Highly recommended!

If you want to spend a lot of your money with dentist .... here's the perfect place. VERY expansive treatments and everything is OVERPRICED. A simple night guard here is 500 dollars , any other place 150 dollars (just an example). By the way the quality of the services is not that great as well. I'm a real person not a "Local Guide" ( someone who make $ writing good reviews... )

As always the service at Tremont Dental is top notch from all the hygenists, front desk folks and dentists (starting at the top with Dr. Lim!). My visit with Jo was fantastic she is great! I would highly recommend Tremont Dental for all your dental needs!

It's time to go back to the dentist! My cleaning was over due because of COVID and that I found unacceptable. The experience I had was as good as ever, which is excellent. The only difference was the level of ppe that everyone was wearing. I felt perfectly comfortable and it made me very happy to be there. Thank you! Thank you again, Stephen.

I've been going to Tremont Dental for a number of years and couldn't be happier. They are a kind, professional, and very knowledgeable group of people. They also don't push unnecessary procedures/dental work unlike my prior dentist. The office is modern and spotless. Further, I felt very comfortable going to my recent cleaning with their COVID safety measures in place.
