A native Texan from the small town of Mexia, Dr. Brandon attended the University of Texas at Dallaswhere he completed a double major in Biology and Business Administration while playing four yearsof Varsity baseball. After graduating, he attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at SanAntonio Dental School. Dr. Brandon continued his studiesin Pediatric Dentistry by completing his Pediatric Dentistry Residency at UTHSC in San Antonio.
Dr. Brandon is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry and has specialized training in providing comprehensive dental care for children of all ages, those with special needs, and the medically compromised. He also specializes in sedation, anesthesia dentistry, andinterceptive orthodontics.
Dr. Shamblin lives in New Braunfels with his wife, Terry Lind, three sons and twin girls. Outside the office, Dr. Shamblin is active in his church and he enjoys spending time with family and friends, keeping up with all things college sports, particularly the Texas Longhorns.

Amanda was so amazing with my two girls who are 4 & 3! It was both their first times and my girls are JAZZED about going back to the dentist! Amanda was so patient and detail oriented. She made the experience a breeze. Dr. Brandon was super duper patient and wonderful with my girls as well! Can't recommend this place enough! Five million stars for a five star staff!

From the time we scheduled the appointment, until we left, the staff was very welcoming and professional. The receptionist answer my phone call with a smile and was very transparent about pricing and what to expect on our first visit. The dental hygienist gave my son a tour of the back and explained to him what to expect at our visit and future visits. They had a private room because it was his first visit to help his nerves. He got to pick out what cartoon to watch while having his teeth cleaned. The hygienist explained every tool she was using and kept the conversation going with my my son then had him practice his brushing and the doctor did a great job talking to us and making sure all questions were answered. After we finished there was a prize wall and we were met by a very easy checkout process. My three year old had a blast and now loves the dentist. I highly recommend TreeTop. We are very happy with our experience here.

We are new to the area and were referred to Treetop for our 10 yr old daughter. We went in for routine checkup and cleaning and waited maybe 10 min after our scheduled appt time and out in less than an hour. When we were called back we were given a small tour which was very welcoming. Amanda cleaned her teeth and was really sweet and knowledgeable. Dr. Jillian came to examine my daughter's teeth and answered all the questions we had. She was thorough and my daughter really liked her. I would definitely recommend Treetop to others!

My kids loved it! And so did I. My kids took turns playing in the adjoining toy/ movie room while the other was getting their teeth cleaned. It was wonderful and so easy. And the hygienist and dentist took time to get to know my kids before the cleaning so they could incorporate the things they like and talk to them about those things.

I love this dentist! My daughter has been seeing them since she was 2 and she's 8 now. They always make kiddos feel comfortable and welcome. My daughter went in for an extraction nervous, and they completely calmed her nerves with their explanations and we got through it like a breeze! Highly recommend Dr. Jillian and Dr. Brandon both!

I'm so happy I found treetop! We came in originally for emergency dental work for my son. Even the GA they work with-- great! They were so gentle, patient, calm, and thorough!! We will be back and highly recommend!! Great team!

Our trip was fabulous! Everyone is so so hospitable and accommodating!! Dental Team even offered to carry my coffee and such! All of the steps in my son's visit were explained to him in '3yo-ese'! Bluey viewing on the ceiling in cool kiddo sunglasses?! Yaaass please!!

Nowadays there are so many pediatric dentists out there, who are just trying to make money by doing some unnecessary and at times harmful procedures to kids, but Dr Brandon is NOT one of them. I've seen 3 or 4 dentists before him with my daughter's 2 cavities and I didn't trust none of them to move forward with the procedure. Unlike all of them, he gave me few options of the treatment and explained pros and cons of them, the rest of those dentists had "my way or highway and here is a ~$2K estimate" attitude. He did my 5 yo daughter's procedure quickly, using laughing gas, without general anesthesia like most of dentists suggested. She was a little sore right after, but by the end of the day she forgot about it. He is very honest, professional and I completely trust his opinion and his skills.The front office ladies and doctor's assistant were extremely nice and helpful, they have iPads for kids to play with and the waiting area looks and smells just lovely! Treetop didn't accept the dental insurance we had, so we canceled the insurance and we will keep coming here because I feel my kids are in good hands. Thank you!
