Dr. Steve is originally from a small town in central Illinois called Oreana, but has made Lockport, Illinois his home since 1997. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with his first bachelors degree in biology in 1992. He then attended the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry and graduated in 1997. Upon completion, he went to Loyola University Medical Center and spent a year in a General Practice Residency, where he was not only exposed to all fields and forms of dentistry, but also completed rotations in oral surgery, anesthesia and medicine. In 1998, Dr. Steve returned to the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry after being accepted into the Pediatric Dental program and completed his training in the year 2000.
Dr. Steve currently has two bachelors degrees and his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. He has a license as a Specialist in Pediatric Dentistry and holds a dental sedation permit in the state of Illinois. He became a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 2006 and he earned the title of Fellow of the American College ofDentistry in 2009. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Chicago Dental Society, the Illinois State Dental Society, the Will County Dental Society and the Illinois Society for Pediatric Dentistry.
Dr. Steve and his wonderful wife, Kathy, have three beautiful children: Beth, Mason and Kyle. He enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, cooking/grilling, gardening and working in his yard. In his spare time, he also enjoys an occasional golf game. Dr. Steve is a rabid University of Illinois fan (Go Illini!). He loves sports (Chicago Bears, St. Louis Cardinals and White Sox) and having fun with family, friends and neighbors.
Dr. Dennis grew up in Orland Park and currently lives in Mokena with his wonderful wife, Gina, and their four children: beautiful triplets Maddie, Mia and Marissa, and their newest beautiful addition, Meredith. They share their busy home with their playful pup, Sly. In his free time, Dr. Dennis enjoys fishing, relaxing on his patio, and sitting around his fire pit with family and friends. Being raised in a suburb of Chicago, he has devoted his love of sports to the White Sox and the Bears.
He began his dental training and received both his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) and Bachelor of Science in Dentistry (BS) degrees in 2002 from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry. Over the next two years, he worked towards obtaining his Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry while also obtaining his Master of Science (MS) degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago. He graduated with both degrees in 2004. This specialized training emphasizes dental care from infancy through the growth and development stage and into adulthood.
Dr. Dennis is a licensed Specialist in Pediatric Dentistry and holds a conscious sedation permit in the state of Illinois. He became a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry in 2006, is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the Chicago Dental Society, the Illinois State Dental Society and the Illinois Society of Pediatric Dentistry.
