Dr. Duane Clouse was born in Chicago, Illinois while his father was finishing dental school. He was raised in Mesa, Arizona, and attended Arizona State University. Following in the footsteps of his father, Dr. Clouse chose to become a dentist and was accepted into the Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska. He graduated in 1991, earning the Preventive Dentistry Award.
Following dental school, Dr. Clouse practiced general dentistry in Phoenix for 12 years. As a general dentist, he realized that his passion was working with children, so he decided to specialize in pediatric dentistry.
The Temple University Childrens Medical Center in Philadelphia, one of the nations top programs for sedation dentistry, accepted Dr. Clouse as a resident in 2003. During his tenure, Dr. Clouse earned the Clinician Award for his exceptional dental skills. He earned his certification in pediatric dentistry in June 2005. Dr. Clouse has been board certified since 2009 and is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry, the American Dental Association and the Arizona Dental Association.
Dr. Clouse and his wife, Jami, grew up together in Mesa, Arizona and attended elementary school, junior high, and high school together. He enjoys college football, ASU being his favorite, he loves the outdoors, and he loves spending time with his wife at their cabin, where they work hard and play even harder. Dr. Clouse and his family have roots in Arizona going back five generations.

This office is amazing. The front office staff, the dental technicians/assistants, and the dentist. Amazing. Patient, kind, super sweet, and just so amazing. My son is so scared to go every time, and the staff makes special accommodations just for him. I 100% recommend this office.

I have 4 kids of all ages and have been to many pediatric dentists and this place is the MOST amazing dentist we've been to!! I cannot express how amazing,polite, sincere the whole entire staff is. Front desk, dental assistant, dentist and the office ladies! They are all great at what they do and really try to comfort the kids and do amazing job on their teeth. Highly recommend

The worst dentist you can choose, be sure and try a pediatric dentist in Phoenix before you commit to using this office, what a difference, this office only wants your money, forget about any procedures.

My son is autistic nonverbal and this team was AMAZING with him. They greeted him with open arms and big smiles. I could tell he immediately felt welcome. He wanted no part of the traditional dentist checkup but the team here quickly adapted and we were able to get through it with as much ease as possible.

My kids love going to the pirate dentist, Dr. Clouse is friendly and the staff are easy to talk to and make you feel welcome, they never talk down to you or make you feel like a dumb dumb if you don't understand what they're talking about...

I have truly been blessed by this place. Such a loving and welcoming group of people. My son loves the people here and is always comfortable and happy about coming to this place. I would recommend anyone with child ergo choose this place in a heartbeat.
