I have been going to Dr. Patterson for years. He has always been great. He has handled extractions and posts for my implants. I have never had an issue with any of the work he has completed and I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

Just had cancer surgery for tongue lesions that had been dismissed by Patterson for two years as not worthy of a biopsy. It took a trip to a different dental surgeon to finally have a biopsy, which showed squamous cell carcinoma. Will never understand why not do a biopsy, I was ready to pay for it, and the lesions were just not going away.

I was pretty optimistic, Dr Patterson seemed to listen to me at first. Apparently he's just good at seeming to listen. Every concern and worry I had happened, and more. I was told to come in for an appointment after making a lot of calls, only to find Dr P wasn't there on the day HE told ME to come in. I took off work to come in, and his receptionist looked at me like a moron. I wound up with complications after my extraction and was told that he "doesn't think it has anything to do with the extraction he did". Because something else snuck into my mouth and caused me problems in the holes where teeth used to be until recently, right? Insufficient pain control, apathetic, NO follow-up care (he doesn't think the problems with the extraction healing has anything to do with him, remember?). I had dry socket, a very common complication, and now, two weeks later, I still have problems. I wound up going to a different dentist AND an MD, both of whom wanted to know why the surgeon who did the extraction wasn't treating this (I guess they think it might involve him after all, and at least they checked out the problem before deciding this whereas he hasn't shown any interest in anything other than avoiding the problem). At this point I'd never let that negligent ass near my mouth again.
