Dr. Travis Russell, D.D.S. grew up in McKenzie, TN where his love of dentistry stemmed through watching his grandfather practice, Dr. Harold Russell, D.D.S. His path to becoming a dentist included completing his undergraduate degree at UT Martin in Cell and Molecular Biology. He then finished his dental school education at the UT Health Science Center in Memphis, TN. He is now able to follow in his grandfather's footsteps by opening his clinic, Russell Family Dental, back in his hometown in August of 2017. He is excited to be serving this community along with his wonderful staff and looks forward to taking care of any dental needs!

Dr. Russell is a great dentist. It's hard to get me numb but he always manages it. He's gentle, careful and methodical. Staff are really friendly and professional too.

Dr. Russell takes great pride in his work. Even if it's a temporary crown, he makes it look perfect. His dentistry is truly pain-free, or as close to that as it can be with dentistry. He has a wonderful personality and a great sense of humor. I would give him six stars if that was possible! Also, his staff is excellent. Always upbeat. Well trained and exuding kindness!

Travis did an awesome job pulling my tooth!!! Very personable and professional at the same time!! No dentist has ever been able to get me completely numb, but Travis did. I would absolutely recommend his services to anyone!!

Staff and Travis Russell DDS all friendly great attitudes.Second Young dentist done in few years.Both hurt giving shots.Our young dentist need to be patient and DO numbing GUMS 30 minutes before doing ANY shots Please

I am new to the area and was apprehensive about finding a good dentist. I am so glad that I chose Russell Dentistry. Dr. Russel and his staff are friendly and made me feel comfortable during my most recent visit, when I had to have a wisdom tooth pulled. It was painless and fast...20 minutes in the chair and I was done. Many thanks to Dr. Russell and his staff!

Visit Russell Family Dental on Sept 20. Travis explained problems that I had and outlined a plan to save my teeth. I left there knowing exactly what I needed to do and how it was going to be handled. FANTASTIC

Had a great experience here. Dr. Travis Russell put in a filling in one of my teeth. By far the best dentist visit I've ever had. Will definitely be coming back for future services. Thanks a million Travis, couldn't have hoped for a better job.

I went today for my first visit. I got my teeth cleaned and an evaluation. Came out very satisfied. And I will be going back. I really like Dr. Russell and his staff. They were all really nice and professional.
