Dr. Haesung Chung graduated from Columbia University in New York City with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering. Upon graduation, he worked as a research assistant at the Cell Biology lab of Columbia University School of Medicine where he helped publish a number of papers in prestigious medical journals. During this period he discovered a passion for dentistry while shadowing a local dentist for a number of months. He was ecstatic when he was accepted into The School of Dental of Oral Surgery at Columbia University, one of the top dental schools in the country. Four years later, he graduated from dental school in the top 15% of his class where he was recognized for clinical excellence and good work ethics. Upon graduation, he moved to the suburbs of Pennsylvania where he started working as an associate at multiple dental offices.
In 2007 he joined Trappe Family Dental as a full time dentist where he continues to serve the community. He has consistently stayed up to date on the most current dental advancements through active participation in continuing education courses. He is a graduate of Rosenthal Institute where he completed a renowned Aesthetic Advantage program. In addition, he holds a certificate in dental implant surgical placement.
Dr. Chung believes in a comprehensive approach to dental care as it relates not only to people's systemic health but also to their aesthetic appearance. He truly cares for his patients and takes his profession as a God-given calling while striving each day to deliver the best care possible in every circumstance.
Outside of dentistry, he loves spending time with his wife and three little children, Alyssa, Ava and Andrew. He likes to play tennis, enjoys singing, and is actively involved in his church. Dr. Chung also volunteers his time to serve the people of Sierra Leone and the Ivory Coast, two of the most impoverished areas in the world by treating them of their dental infections. He hopes to continue to serve those people in need.
Dr. Soo S. Lee graduated from the University of Michigan with a Bachelor of Science in Biology followed by earning her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Temple University School of Dentistry. Upon graduation, she practiced in Philadelphia and New York City and finally has found her 'home' at Trappe Family Dental. Dr. Lee is committed to advanced continuing education so that she can offer the latest techniques and technology to her patients. She is a graduate of Rosenthal Institute where she completed a renowned Aesthetic Advantage program.
Dr. Lee considers it a privilege that families have entrusted in her their oral health and have shared with her their lives. She loves the dynamics of treating generations within one family and catching up with her patients, at the least, every six months! The comfort of her patients as well as the opportunity to take care of them as though she was treating her own family are her top priority. She considers it the greatest compliment when patients overcome their initial fear of dentistry and become conscientious of their oral health which is vital to their overall well-being. She has a heart to serve the underprivileged and has gone to Sierra Leone and the Ivory Coast for short term mission trips with several other dentists from her church to perform extractions.
She is an avid sports fan, especially enjoys watching her Philadelphia sports teams and the Michigan Wolverines and also hopes to have time to play a round of golf one day! But for now, she is quite busy as a mother of three young ones, Alyssa, Ava and Andrew - she considers them pure joy and a source of constant amazement and laughter.

I was in pain and called this office and mercy was extremely kind and efficient getting me seen right away! I was so impressed with her kindness and helpfulness. The girls at the front desk were the kindest and it was a pleasure being treated so nicely. I will definitely be going back to this office because of the treatment I received! And Dr. Lee is amazing also. I definitely recommend this office!

This was my first experience at this practice. All of the staff was warm and friendly. My dental hygienist Holly was terrific! She explained everything, had great technique, and was very friendly. Dr Lee was wonderful.

I LOVE this dentist! They are so gentle and kind. Pre-Covid they offered warm neck wraps and free massages, after the visit. I have never had a bad experience and I've been going to them for 8 years.

I've lived around the world and had many dentists who I've thought were all great. Moving to the area and starting to visit Dr. Chung and his team, I can say they are by far one of the top practices I've been to.

Wonderful first visit to Trappe Family Dental. Everyone I encountered was pleasant and very helpful. Unfortunately, I have a couple of things that need attention, but I am very comfortable with Dr. Lee doing great work.

Had an accident that chipped 3 of my front teeth, and needed this fixed quickly. I called and they fit me in the next day. The Xray tech was super friendly and efficient, and Dr. Lee made sure I was comfortable and experienced no pain throughout the entire process. Everyone there was so nice, while maintaining their professionalism. I don't have dental insurance, and they worked with me on that as well. I walked out smiling without an ounce of self-consciousness, so thank you Trappe Family Dental!

I live in the city but I still come home just to go here every time I need a checkup or anything because they're that great. Everyone's so nice and makes you feel immediately comfortable. Never change guys!

Trappe Family Dental was my previous dentist and due to an insurance change had to switch. Really elated that Dr Lee is in my new network. Super caring, informative, professional and personable. Told me what I needed, gave me a few options and we have a plan all in one visit. Fabulous .

Recently started going to Trapp family dental, very happy with the office and the people there everybody seems real not fake. Are used to go to another dentist or they just seemed fake like they were following a script. As far as the cleaning I was very happy Holly did a fantastic job and was very personable throughout

This was my first time at Trappe Family Dental and will not be my last! The staff were ridiculously friendly (think Chick-Fil-A but in a dental office) the office was clean, the hygienist was gentle yet still thorough and the owner even came out to say hello and make sure I was doing ok. THIS is what all dental practices should be like!

After moving to the area in 2009 I tried several dentists and were not happy with any of them. I tried around 5 different offices and they were all subpar. Trappe Family Dental has been nothing but comfortable and accommodating. I need a doctor's note to use sick time at work, they have the memo in my chart and it's always waiting for me at the conclusion of my cleaning. The doctors explains as much as they can to make everything clear. They spend much more time with you than other dentist's office I've tried out. I had never looked forward to my dentist appointments until I started going to Trappe Family Dental. The whole office is cheerful and they seem to be well trained.
