Trapnell Orthodontics was founded in 1996, with the first location in Provo, Utah. From a young age, all of the Trapnell brothers were fascinated by science, due in part to their father being a biology teacher and encouraging them to pursue the field. They were all very similar throughout the years with similar interests and hobbies, which led all of them to pursue Orthodontics. For over 25 years, Trapnell Orthodontics has maintained its reputation for excellence in family orthodontic care and customer service. Everything we do is for our patients and their comfort.

Traditional braces use high-quality, stainless steel brackets and wires to straighten your teeth. Modern-day brackets are smaller than the braces of the past, making them much more comfortable. If you are ready to straighten your teeth, traditional braces are an economical and effective solution.

Ceramic braces are made of clear material, making them less noticeable than traditional braces. They also employ a smaller bracket design, though they are still strong and durable. Ceramic braces are usually preferred by our patients who are looking for a discreet way to straighten their teeth.

We monitor your children as their mouths grow and change, allowing us to intervene early and prevent potential orthodontic problems. Treating your children for situations as and before they arise can mean fewer procedures and less expense in the future.

Dr. Chris Trapnell completed his undergraduate work at Brigham Young University; he went on to earn his doctorate from the University of Colorado and his masters degree in orthodontics from the University of Louisville. He has been providing outstanding orthodontic care since 1999. He maintains active membership with the American Association of Orthodontists and Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists.

Outside the office, Dr. Chris loves spending time with his family, his wife Sheri and his children Michael, Nicole, Samuel, Connor and Aubrie. He volunteers his time to the Boy Scouts of America and is an active LDS church youth leader. He also enjoys flying, camping, river rafting and hunting.

Dr. Greg Trapnell completed his undergraduate work at Brigham Young University and earned his doctorate from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. He earned his specialty certification in orthodontics from Jacksonville University. He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists.

Outside the office he volunteers with the Boy Scouts of America and is a LDS church leader. He also enjoys spending time with his wife Noel and his three children, camping, riding his motorcycle and river rafting.

Dr. Brian Trapnell has been providing outstanding orthodontic care since 1996. He earned his doctorate from Oregon Health and Science University and his specialty certification in orthodontics from New York University. To stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in the field of orthodontics, Dr. Brian maintains active memberships in numerous prestigious professional organizations such as the American Association of Orthodontics and Rocky Mountain Association of Orthodontics. Dr. Brian is a consultant for Opal Orthodontics and has developed and co-developed numerous orthodontic products.

Outside the office, Dr. Brian enjoys spending time with his family. He has 7 children. He volunteers with Boy Scouts of America, is a youth leader, and is founder of The Giving Smile. He also enjoys aviation, flying both fixed wing and rotor craft. He loves hunting, fishing, dirt bike riding, fly boarding, wake surfing, and pyrotechnics.
