Dr. Tran received his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry in Oklahoma City, which is also where he completed his periodontal residency. He is board certified with the American Board of Periodontology. His work primarily focuses on the placement of dental implants, gum or periodontal disease therapy, and cosmetic periodontal plastic surgery.

Born and raised in Tulsa, Dr. Trans parents emigrated from Vietnam in 1975. Once he completed his education, his vision of providing quality, affordable and convenient periodontal care to improve the oral health of patients in the greater Tulsa area drove him to open Tulsa Dental Implants and Periodontics. He believes that everyone is entitled to a pain-free, clean, attractive, healthy mouth.

Dr. Tran is an involved member in many local, national and international organizations, including the American Dental Association, Oklahoma Dental Association, Tulsa County Dental Society, American Academy of Periodontology, Academy of Osseointegration and Southwest Society of Periodontists.

Dr. Brett completed his certificate in periodontics at The Ohio State University College of Dentistry and his DDS at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine, where he was the recipient of various awards. He also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh, where he graduated magna cum laude and with departmental honors.

With multiple publications and presentations covering everything from severe brain trauma to tobacco cessation in dental offices, Dr. Brett has an impressive background and wide array of knowledge. Jane came to our office concerned about her gums moving away from her teeth and exposing the yellow roots of the teeth. Some patients need to replace an entire row or mouth of teeth. We can do as little as four implants for either the top or bottom teeth or the entire mouth. Some patients leave our office with an entire new set of teeth in one day. In order to replace teeth, it is necessary to place a titanium screw where the root of your tooth once was to hold your replacements in. In order to do that, a small surgery is required. This method permanently affixes your implants with only four screws instead of one for each tooth.
