Dr. Kevin Chang earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology at the University of the Pacific and his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at New York University College of Dentistry. During this time, he received many awards for his leadership and service. Upon graduation, Dr. Kevin went to practice in an especially under-served area in New Mexico. He focused on treating patients who were in much need of medical and dental care - many of his patients who had lived lives in poor health and dental neglect. This experience forged a dedication to helping those who are most in need.

Dr. Kevin interned at Korea Universitys Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, treating outpatients ranging from those who had suffered traumatic injuries needing long term physical therapy to surgical extractions of third molars. In addition to his internship, Dr. Kevin has taken over 100 hours of Continuing Education over the course of the past year.

After moving to Austin, Dr. Kevin met Dr. Carpenter and discovered the world of Biological Dentistry. Dr. Kevin has focused his attention to provide the safest personalized dental care possible, with emphasis on the use of bio compatible dental materials. He is currently both an accredited member of and SMART Heavy Metal Removal Certified by the International Academy of Oral Medicine & Toxicology (IAOMT).

Dr. Kevin speaks fluent Korean, is limited-working proficient in Mandarin, and enjoys running and playing golf in his free time. On weekends, you can see him walking his friends' dogs or watching Formula 1 races.

Dr. Carpenter began his career by completing undergraduate work at Texas A&M University and then dental school at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio. After an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the Audie L. Murphy VA Medical Center, he began treating underserved patients in New Mexico. By providing care through La Clnica del Pueblo de Ro Arriba, he came in contact with many underprivileged Native-American and Mexican-American patients who were desperate for adequate medical care.

Then his exposure to the toxic materials used in dentistry almost ended his life. For a while, he had to turn his skills toward saving himself. In doing so, he acquired the knowledge required to protect his patients from many situations that were being overlooked by other dentists. Abscessed root canals, infected cavitations, poisoning from toxic materials used in the mouththese and many other conditions were overwhelming patients immune systems. Chronic illnesses and severe pain were the results.

After his recovery, Dr. Carpenter has taken a step back from dentistry and is practicing now as a skilled board-certified naturopath. He uses both his educational backgrounds to meld the very best of holistic medicine and naturopathy with Dr. Chang's dentistry. The result is that we can now help patients recover from severe and chronic illnesses caused by prior oral issues.

We have sought out advanced specialist training to reverse the health problems caused by harmful substances and heavy metals placed in our patients prior to their arrival.
