It is Dr. Melissas passion to provide individualized high quality care in a gentle manner surrounded by a comfortable, relaxing environment. As a highly skilled dentist, she enjoys all aspects of dentistry, including cosmetics, implant restoration, and pediatrics. Dr. Melissa enjoys working with people of all ages to achieve their dental health goals.
Melissa Naidyhorski, D.D.S. graduated from the University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry in 2006. She was given special recognition at graduation from the MN Academy of Pediatric Dentistry for her skill with children. She also holds a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Bethel College.
Dr. Melissa Naidyhorski enjoys educating the community on dental care and has been interviewed on KARE-11, KSTP-5 and Around Town on topics including oral cancer, childrens dental health and the mouth-body connection. Prior to opening her own clinic, she served as an associate at a group practice where she piloted the latest advances in technology and materials this helped inspire her to open Tranquility Dental where, as the owner, she could implement state-of-the-art proven technologies to better serve her patients.
Dr. Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband Andy and their daughters, Taryn and Tristyn. They enjoy outdoor activities such as waterskiing and four-wheeling. She is also an avid reader her favorite are mysteries/suspense (John Sandford, James Patterson and J.D. Robb).
Dr. Katy joined Tranquility Dental in 2017 to help out while Dr. Melissa was on maternity leave. She won over patients with her gentle, caring approach. She and Dr. Melissa share a commitment to provide patients of all ages with quality dentistry.
A Nebraska native, Dr. Katy completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Her grandfather, a pediatric dentist, was her greatest role model growing up and ignited the desire for many of his children and grandchildren to enter the field. One of the things she admired most was his insatiable appetite for knowledge. Dr. Katy emulates this with her commitment to lifelong learning.
Dr. Katy enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her adorable golden retreiver puppy, Crew. She can be found enjoying the outdoors, hiking, biking, golfing, skiing, or on the water. Embracing Minnesota culture, she also cheers on Gopher football and Wild hockey. When at home, she likes to cozy up with a good book, or get cooking in the kitchen.
Krista joined Tranquility Dental in the winter of 2018. Fresh out of college, she joined a pediatric dental office and enjoyed spending her days seeing smiling children. She then went on to manage a hair salon in Eden Prairie where she developed a love for leadership and customer service. It was not long before Krista missed the dental field and decided to return. We are so lucky that she decided to join our team.
In her free time, Krista and her husband, Matt enjoy going to sporting events (mostly for the popcorn), being outdoors with their yellow lab, Hailey, and spending quality time with their friends and families. Krista and Matt also welcomed their first son, Brooks Matthew, in November of 2019.
