It is Dr. Melissas passion to provide individualized high quality care in a gentle manner surrounded by a comfortable, relaxing environment. As a highly skilled dentist, she enjoys all aspects of dentistry, including cosmetics, implant restoration, and pediatrics. Dr. Melissa enjoys working with people of all ages to achieve their dental health goals.
Melissa Naidyhorski, D.D.S. graduated from the University of Minnesota, School of Dentistry in 2006. She was given special recognition at graduation from the MN Academy of Pediatric Dentistry for her skill with children. She also holds a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Bethel College.
Dr. Melissa Naidyhorski enjoys educating the community on dental care and has been interviewed on KARE-11, KSTP-5 and Around Town on topics including oral cancer, childrens dental health and the mouth-body connection. Prior to opening her own clinic, she served as an associate at a group practice where she piloted the latest advances in technology and materials this helped inspire her to open Tranquility Dental where, as the owner, she could implement state-of-the-art proven technologies to better serve her patients.
Dr. Melissa enjoys spending time with her husband Andy and their daughters, Taryn and Tristyn. They enjoy outdoor activities such as waterskiing and four-wheeling. She is also an avid reader her favorite are mysteries/suspense (John Sandford, James Patterson and J.D. Robb).
Dr. Katy joined Tranquility Dental in 2017 to help out while Dr. Melissa was on maternity leave. She won over patients with her gentle, caring approach. She and Dr. Melissa share a commitment to provide patients of all ages with quality dentistry.
A Nebraska native, Dr. Katy completed her undergraduate degree in Biology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. Her grandfather, a pediatric dentist, was her greatest role model growing up and ignited the desire for many of his children and grandchildren to enter the field. One of the things she admired most was his insatiable appetite for knowledge. Dr. Katy emulates this with her commitment to lifelong learning.
Dr. Katy enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her adorable golden retreiver puppy, Crew. She can be found enjoying the outdoors, hiking, biking, golfing, skiing, or on the water. Embracing Minnesota culture, she also cheers on Gopher football and Wild hockey. When at home, she likes to cozy up with a good book, or get cooking in the kitchen.
Krista joined Tranquility Dental in the winter of 2018. Fresh out of college, she joined a pediatric dental office and enjoyed spending her days seeing smiling children. She then went on to manage a hair salon in Eden Prairie where she developed a love for leadership and customer service. It was not long before Krista missed the dental field and decided to return. We are so lucky that she decided to join our team.
In her free time, Krista and her husband, Matt enjoy going to sporting events (mostly for the popcorn), being outdoors with their yellow lab, Hailey, and spending quality time with their friends and families. Krista and Matt also welcomed their first son, Brooks Matthew, in November of 2019.

I don't even know where to begin. There is just too much awesomeness to talk about in one review! Tranquility is hands down the best dentistry in MN! A class act! Everyone is treated with the utmost care and everything is explained thoroughly. Every employee rocks! I love this place.

For those with dental phobias I can't reccomend this place enough. I came from shamblott where service felt a bit too commercialized and like if you made a production line out of dentistry but the production line was not smooth or efficient. The way they treat you here is like you are a human. There is no judgment on what is going on in your mouth. I like how gentle they speak especially after telling them that I was nervous. It feel genuine and authentic. They were joking to see how pain-free my novacaine shot could be and honestly I couldn't feel it at all and it's the worst part for me. For the first time I actually enjoy the dentist even though I have alot more work to be done and it is of course quite spendy. It's worth it though. And they do a good job of explaining the costs and such. The only reviews that are not 5 stars are ones about scheduling and honestly it's because they are so well saught after and the other one was from someone out of state....

I've been a patient since I decided I needed to stop driving all the way to my hometown to see my childhood dentist. I originally picked the place because it was close to my work and easy to pop over for a cleaning. I've since changed forms and now it's not so convenient but I still plan on staying with Dr. Melissa. I've been having issues with a crown that doesn't want to stay put but they've been great about getting it fixed. Thanks!

Dr.Melissa is excellent, and so too is the entire staff. I had three crowns put on my teeth and the process went very well. The staff cooperate with each other and make the situation as "tranquil" as possible for the patient. There is a humanity here that you will not find at most dental practices. My highest recommendation.

Just had my first visit at Tranquility Dental this morning, and all I can say is wow!! Everyone is so nice at the office and very knowledgeable. After my hygienist of 20+ years retired, I was very scared to have someone new as my experience at my previous dental office that wasn't my hygienist was terrible. Luckily Katie put me right at ease and explained everything to me in a way that didn't make me anxious. She also was very gentle and stellar at my teeth cleaning. I also saw Dr. Katy and she was incredible in explaining things to me. 10/10 service, will definitely be referring all my friends and family here!

I hadn't been to the Dentist in 6 years out of sheer fear. My Husband and I just moved back to Minnesota and I decided it was time to get my dental health in check. I found Tranquility online and I am so happy I chose to go here. I was greeted by the awesome office administrators Shawna & Krista they both were so friendly and immediately made me feel more at ease. I then was taken back by an AWESOME dental hygienist Tali who I admitted to that I was absolutely terrified to be there. She was so kind and caring during my entire visit. She explained in detail everything that she was about to do and checked in on me during my cleaning to make sure I was still feeling comfortable and OK. Dr. Kramer also made me feel extremely at ease and was very thorough with her examine. I am so grateful that I faced my fear and went to the dentist and especially grateful I chose Tranquility. These ladies are top notch, professional, and extremely compassionate. You can also tell they all really love what they do which is great. If you are still reading I highly recommend choosing this place for your dental needs!! I am no longer afraid of going to the dentist. Thanks Tranquility!

Came here seeking help with some broken teeth as well as some teeth that were in pain. One of the ones in pain taking care of it as soon as possible. Told them I did not want a cleaning until the work was done. So I went to two appointments with them. They did cleaning and x-rays and made a big plan to have somebody else do some work before they would even look at the teeth that were in pain. For the amount of money I was looking at spending I'm not going to see a dentist who isn't able to listen to me.

I have to edit my previous good review. I do feel as if the dentist here did a poor job addressing a molar cavity they identified, although I did not feel or see any symptoms. After the work I had a sharp edge to the filling and gum irritation that continued to such extent that flossing would cause pain and bleeding. I went back and they filed down the sharp edge but I was left with a big gap between the teeth that continued to be irritated and now also would trap food leading to more gum inflammation. I was not eager to get back there so I put up with the discomfort. After several years the filling broke and I found a new dentist to clean up the damage- they had to cap the tooth and eventually I even needed a root canal. I truly believe Tranquility's service did more damage than good. Maybe it was just a bad one off experience but I lost trust. In retrospect I also feel like they upsold a lot of products so I felt a little taken advantage of. Like I said- maybe it was them maybe it was a weird situation with my tooth... either way I've been much happier and more successful with my new dentist. The dentist was super nice and the place was beautiful, I just think maybe I didn't end up with the best level of care ultimately.

Have seen both Dr. Melissa and Dr. Kramer for many years - highly recommend them both. I have been seen for routine care over the years and they also fixed my front teeth with beautiful crowns (previously had poorly done bonding by a former dentist).

I highly recommend Tranquility Dental. When I moved from the east coast back in 2014, I first lived in Santana Row and started going there. I moved out of Santana Row in 2017 and still go to them. They are very pleasant and professional

I am so happy I found this place. Dr. Melissa and her entire staff are completely amazing. I came here to get some worked removed that I wasn't happy with that was done elsewhere by another dentist. Dr. Melissa was very thorough in explaining how she could fix this. I trusted her judgement. Her dental assistant, Amanda, is also amazing! She helped Dr. Melissa and made me feel at ease and even took the time to show me the instruments she was going to use and she explained what each would do in order to help calm my nerves. They both took the time to carefully and conservatively remove the previous dental work to ensure that my teeth would not be compromised. They also made sure I was comfortable during this process. It's not often you find such compassionate, skilled, and lovely individuals all around. The energy here radiates positivity. They make sure to put your well being first and foremost. Please look no further than Tranquility Dental if you need any dental treatments performed. You are in skilled hands and will want to come back right away just to see all of these awesome women from the receptionists, to the hygienists, to the dentist herself!
