Dr. Tran is a specialist in the field of orthodontics. Dr. Tran established his practice here in Louisville in 1995, followed by a second location in Prospect, Kentucky. During this time, Dr. Tran has treated many complex cases requiring extensive planning, input and cooperation with other dental professionals.
In fact, numerous continuing education courses keeps him current in the latest orthodontic techniques and technologies. He is an alumnus of the prestigious L. D. Pankey Institute and the McLaughlin 2-year postgraduate orthodontic course.
He maintains various memberships in the local and national orthodontic associations. In addition, Dr. Tran has held positions such as president of the Kentucky Association of Orthodontists and Kentucky Delegate to the Southern Association of Orthodontics.
For more than twenty years, Dr. Tran has held a part-time position as clinical professor at the University of Kentucky, and the University of Louisville College of Dentistry. Dr. Tran has also lectured to established orthodontists throughout the United States.
Dr. Tran received his bachelors degree from the University of Houston, his doctorate in dental surgery from Baylor University, and his certificate and masters in orthodontics from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry.
