Dr. Tran is a specialist in the field of orthodontics. Dr. Tran established his practice here in Louisville in 1995, followed by a second location in Prospect, Kentucky. During this time, Dr. Tran has treated many complex cases requiring extensive planning, input and cooperation with other dental professionals.
In fact, numerous continuing education courses keeps him current in the latest orthodontic techniques and technologies. He is an alumnus of the prestigious L. D. Pankey Institute and the McLaughlin 2-year postgraduate orthodontic course.
He maintains various memberships in the local and national orthodontic associations. In addition, Dr. Tran has held positions such as president of the Kentucky Association of Orthodontists and Kentucky Delegate to the Southern Association of Orthodontics.
For more than twenty years, Dr. Tran has held a part-time position as clinical professor at the University of Kentucky, and the University of Louisville College of Dentistry. Dr. Tran has also lectured to established orthodontists throughout the United States.
Dr. Tran received his bachelors degree from the University of Houston, his doctorate in dental surgery from Baylor University, and his certificate and masters in orthodontics from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry.

Our daughter got braces put in for the first time today and Melody was awesome. She was very thorough, gave great instructions and made sure our daughter was comfortable the entire time. Made our daughter feel at ease as well and the experience was top notch.

We had our 1st meeting with Dr. Tran and his team to evaluate our daughter. They were all so welcoming and the Prospect location was so nice. The staff and Dr. Tran were very clear in their explanations and made us feel at ease with future plans.

I just got braces from Dr.Tran today I would say he's expensive but you get free icecream, free cups, sweaters he put my braces on under 5 minutes and I got to learn about braces like what you can't eat how a bracket could fall off and the scars Dr.Tran and his employees are very nice and hardworking would definitely recommend Dr.Tran

Dr Tran and his team are all so compassionate and understanding! I had to go back and get a 2nd set of braces after my teeth had shifted and it was by far the smoothest process! 10000% recommend their team if you're looking for a family oriented orthodontist!!

Dr. Tran and his staff are phenomenal. He really takes the time to explain everything thoroughly. He isn't quick to slap braces on. I love how they also celebrate new patients, kiddoes getting braces and the ones who get them off. Plus being able to read all the messages from the kids on the ceiling walls makes me feel like we're in the best hands. And who doesn't love ice cream and a massage chair while you wait!

Dr. Tran and his staff have been so great with my son from the beginning of him getting braces to recently getting his braces off! His teeth look FANTASTIC! My son loves sharing his Lego build stories with the ladies who greet you as you walk into the office. And they love to hear all he has to say. I can't say enough wonderful things about Tran Orthodontics!!!

Dr. Tran's office is simply best in class. His courtesy, and his delight in the perfect results he attains are a pleasure to see. I have used Dr. Tran for all of my kids. I highly recommend him. He is sensible, personal, and an excellent Orthodontist. His death is very friendly and he gives you a lot of his time.

I got my braces in 2019 and I got them off 2022 the process went without any problems and everyone was very nice and supporting. I definitely recommend this place.

If your child needs braces, this is the only place you want to go. Dr. Tran and his staff are amazing. You feel at home and you want to stop in just because you can. Not only is his work amazing, he treats the kids with total respect. Moreover, he treats the parents with respect and does not do unnecessary work or rework. For the kids. There is free ice cream for the adults. There are massage chairs and coffee. Like I said you want to pop in just because you can.
