Dr. John Savon is a graduate of Shawnee High School in Medford, NJ. He attended St. Josephs University in Philadelphia as a biology major and was frequently on the Deans List. He then attended the University of Medicine and Dentistry in Newark.
Dr. Savon graduated at the top of his dental class and received numerous academic awards. After dental school, he completed a general practice residency at Virtua Hospital in Camden, NJ. It was at this residency that he met Dr. William Judd.
Dr. Savon began working with Dr. Judd in 1993. They later formed a partnership, which is now Train Station Dental. Dr. Savon is on staff at Virtua Hospital and has received Teacher of the Year honors while volunteering his time at the dental residency program. He is also certified by Invisalign Orthodontics to perform invisible braces.
We are proud to announce Dr. Sara Engleman as the newest addition to Train Station Dental. Dr. Engleman graduated Cum Laude from the University of Maryland, College Park, with a B.S. in Psychology and Spanish. She earned her dental degree from Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry where she graduated at the top of her class and was inducted into the prestigious Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society.
Dr. Engleman continued her dental education by completing a General Practice Residency at Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. While at Einstein Medical Center, Dr. Engleman was awarded 'Resident of the Year.' To remain up-to-date on the latest advances in dentistry and provide the best services for her patients, Dr. Engleman expands her knowledge at Continuing Education classes throughout the year. Outside of the office, she enjoys painting, cooking, and exploring the city of Philadelphia.
Maureen is a native of Stratford, NJ and attended Camden County College. She has been with Train Station Dental since 1996 and enjoys the people she works with and helping patients enjoy excellent oral health.
Deborah grew up in Sewell, NJ and attended Camden County College and Gloucester County College. She received a Departmental Academic Excellence award for graduating first in her class and the Cheryl Westphal Scholarship for academic achievement. Deborah is also a member of Sigma Phi Dental Hygiene Honor Society.
Lauren has attended numerous schools, including Montgomery County Community College, Cape Fear Community College, Harcum College, and the University of Pennsylvania. She holds a bachelors degree in dental hygiene and is a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
Lauren has been with Train Station Dental since 2004. She makes her patients her priority and treats them the way they like to be treated. Since Lauren understands how vital dental and overall health are, she finds it easy to promote dentistry to her patients.
As a native of East Norriton, PA, Lauren enjoys golfing, which is a family hobby. Fitness and maintaining a healthy lifestyle are very important to Lauren. She takes joy in watching her kids play sports, going out on dinner dates with her husband, hanging out with her puppy, and traveling.
Melissa graduated from Washington Township High School and attended Rowan University, where she received a bachelors degree in communications and Community College of Philadelphia, where she studied dental hygiene.
Melissa is a native of Washington Township. She loves meeting new people and her one-on-one interactions with her patients. She also enjoys educating patients on oral health while providing thorough, gentle cleanings.
Stacey grew up in Audubon. Her goal as a dental hygienist is to promote healthy smiles and to assist her patients to better understand the importance of excellent oral health. Stacey has a calm and friendly chairside manner, which fosters a relaxed and comfortable dental experience.

This is my third review of this practice. As is always the case, this is never an office to wonder about. The staff and doctors are all both competent and friendly, as well as being committed to providing the needed service. This visit was for a cleaning. The hygienists are experienced, friendly, knowledgeable and thorough. And, when finished, a dentist does a thorough checkup. It is really difficult to ask for better service. as a senior citizen, I have known many dental practices both when living in New Jersey and, previously, in Philadelphia. This one ranks with the best. I just had to add this 4th review today: Whether it's for just a checkup, a cleaning or minor- to- extensive dental care, the people here are all both talented and sociable. On arriving, I always hear,'Hello, how's your day (by anyone, not just the ones treating me) and, 'Have a great Day,' as I leave. The office has the latest in safety devices, so the patient need not worry and every effort is made to see to your comfort. I highly recommend Train Station Dental, conveniently located in Audubon, NJ and easy to get to. Fourth review - The practice is comfortably nestled in a cute building next to the train tracks in Audubon. Hence the name Train Station Dental. Everybody - Dentists, receptionists, assistants and hygienists are nice people, very pleasant, highly skilled and thorough. This is definitely the best dental practice I have been to in decades. This is a new post - at least my 4th or 5th. .It's difficult to find new things to say about how great the staff, from top to bottom, is a Train Station Dental. The visit yesterday really did make me happy. The discomfort I felt in a bottom molar had me concerned that It might be the beginning of a need for root canal service. An x-ray of the tooth, looked fine, though Dr. Savon said that one part of the too was slightly high, so he took it down a bit and that made a world of difference, He said that it should improve gradually. I understand the meaning of 'gradually,' and while the tooth is still not perfect in just one day, there is considerably less discomfort. Kudos and thanks to Dr. Savon and the entire staff.

I have been a patient here for at least 20 years and I have never had a bad experience. I actually look forward to coming to the dentist. Everyone is so nice and professional. I travel close to an hour to cone here. When I moved about 10 years ago I tried a dentist close to home but they were not even close to being the same caliber as Train Station Dental.

1/18/21 Let's be honest who likes going to the Dentist. At The Train Station Dental everyone always makes you feel so very comfortable at ease and painless as possible. They treat you like a family member. No need to feel uneasy about going during the Virus, they take so many precautions to make sure everyone safe. So if anyone is looking for an amazing Dentist, I highly recommend going to Train Station Dental. Keep smiling . 9 months ago I have been going here for about 10 years or more. I am not a fan of dentist, but everyone there make you feel at ease and pain free. You never have to wait anymore than 10 mins for your appointment. Lauren always clean my teeth, she is just a sweetie. Makes you feel comfortable at all times. She doesn't rush to clean your teeth, she does a awesome job. I would recommend this dentist office to anyone. Happy smiling 6/5/18 I go every 6 months for a check up and teeth cleaning. I am always greeted when I come in by my name and a smile. Everyone there always makes you feel like family. They make you feel comfortable no matter how nervous you may be, because we know sometimes the Dentist isn't our favorite place to go. I get my teeth cleaning by Lauren and she is amazing. She doesn't rush, she is so personal and makes you feel relaxed at all times. I would recommend going here to everyone. Keep smiling. 7/10/19 I can't say enough about everyone who works at the Dental office. From the time you walk through the door you are greeted with a smile and a hello by your name. Like I have said before Lauren always cleans my teeth every 6 months. She is so personable, always finds time to ask how you are and what's new. She never rushes when cleaning my teeth and makes me feel so comfortable. I don't have a bad thing to say. Keep on smiling 4/16/20 So one of my molars broke off, and I went in intending to have it pulled. After talking to Dr. Savon I decided to get a cap, and I am so glad I did. He did an amazing job and the cap looks and feels outstanding. During this time of the virus everyone in the office took outstanding precautions to make sure you where safe. They were only allowing one person at a time into the office and they all were wearing PPE. I felt very safe, thank you. I would recommend the Train Station Dental to everyone. They are very friendly, helpful, and caring . They all treat you like family.

Another great dental experience by Train Station Dental! I brought my 3 yr old daughter with me to help get her used to going to the dentist and Michelle and Dr. Savon we're great with her. They explained what they were doing to me and offer to look in her mouth and count her teeth too. Amazing experience and once again amazing service. The best time to visit Train Station Dental is before the holiday season. That way you will be able to fully enjoy Halloween candy, Thanksgiving pie and Christmas sweets. It really is a must in the quest for optimum dental care!

The staff at Train Station Dental are always warm and friendly. They are informed and receptive to questions. I haven't had any bad experiences with myself or my two children. Highly recommend! Update from my most recent visit: In the past week Dr. Savon and his office did cleanings on myself and my two daughters, and a filling for my 6 year old daughter. They made all of these experiences very pleasant and easy. My daughter didn't even flinch during the filling process! Everyone in the office is very friendly. I highly recommend Train Station dental for both children and adults!

I love having the ability to take advantage of the dental health program here. It makes it easy for me to come in every 6 months; so I'm no longer putting off basic dental care. I feel I get excellent care from the experienced hygienists who x-ray and clean my teeth. They are all informative, have a great sense of humor and are compassionate and enthusiastic about the care they provide. They work very well with the dentists as a team and I like that!

Train Station Dental is the best. The entire staff is friendly and take Needed an emergency appointment and was seen very quickly. Very thorough diagnosis and was able to resolve my problem quickly with a great deal of compassion and concern for my comfort. I've been with this practice for over 40 yrs for very good reasons! personal care of their patients. Always willing to provide options for dental problems if possible. Never have to waste time in the office waiting to be called back. The professionalism of Dr. Savon is extraordinary and always puts his patients at ease. I have been a patient for over 30 years. Wouldn't go anywhere else!
