Dr. Crear has a passion for treating patients of all ages, from babies to the elderly. A native New Orleanian, she received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from LSU Dental School in 1991.Upon graduating from Dental School, Dr. Crear opened her own private practice in uptown New Orleans on Louisiana Ave. She later established a group practice in 1992, appreciating the diversity of skills that many different dentists brought to the practice. With the success of her first practice, Dr. Crear opened a second location in 2003 called St. Bernard Dental Group which too, thrived until Hurricane Katrina. Both practices were lost in the flooding and Dr. Crear moved to the Baton Rouge area. She relocated her primary office, Tracy M. Crear, D.D.S. and Associates to Baker, Louisiana, and also relocated the St. Bernard Dental Group to Gretna, Louisiana in 2006. Dr. Crear reopened in the Uptown area in 2011, and reestablished herself in her Smiling Faces Family Dentistry network. Dr. Crear believes in staying current in the newest and latest dental technology, and is a member of the NDA, ADA, LDA, and NODA. With special interests in cosmetic dentistry, Dr. Crear maintains an extensive continuing education program and expertise in the areas of teeth whitening and veneers (i.e. Lumineers).

They are one of the only establishments willing to take medicaid for adults I could find. The level of professionalism, and care yet, personable and hospitable, is worth mentioning why I rate them 5/5. If you want a dentist that is very skillful and professional but you can't afford thousands of dollars in dental care...I recommend Tracy Crear.

I'm 33yrs old i've been going to her and her husband since i was a little girl me n my sister living in New Orleans. When i found them out here i started taking my kids to them.They've always, always have had a lovely staff an a beautiful office even on Magazine it was tight but,it was worth it!!
