Dr. Wilkersons father, Dr. Tom, was a pediatric dentist, and she grew up watching him build meaningful relationships while helping patients. After working as an engineer, she made a life-changing decision to go back to school and become a dentist like her dad.
Post-graduation, Dr. Wilkerson continued her education with a residency program in pediatrics and eventually took over her fathers practice after his retirement. Many of Dr. Toms patients now have kids who visit our practice, meaning were leaving a legacy of smiles!
Dr. Wilkerson believes pediatric dentistry is the perfect mix of fun and medicine, making each visit a stress-free and exciting experience for kids and parents alike. (More fun for kids and more convenience for parents.)
Our dentist loves helping families create a lifetime of excellent dental health. She has shared her dental skills on mission trips to Haiti, which has made her grateful for the modern medical and dental care we have in this country.

Before becoming a dentist, I was a civil engineer for a while. Most people find it interesting that I made the career change, but pediatric dentistry is my true calling. I have also jumped out of a plane when I took my sister skydiving on her 40th birthday.
