Dr. Longs interest in dentistry came from his mother, who was hesitant and shy about her smile until seeking a dentist. He saw the burst in confidence his mother had after the dentist fixed her smile. He sought the profession of dentistry to have profound effect on as many people as possible, just like the dentist he remembered in his childhood had on his mother.
Although born in the city of Dallas, he was raised in Shreveport, Louisiana. He graduated from Caddo Magnet High School. Afterwards, he earned a Bachelor of Science degree inBiology at Louisiana Tech University, where he was also awarded Student of the Year in 2012. He attended Baylor College of Dentistry and earned Doctor of Dental Surgery. Dr. Longs faith plays a very important part in his life. He keeps a smile on his face and wishes to bring the best out of everyone he meets.

I've always hesitated to go to the dentist, but the experience at Tracey Dental has changed my mindset. The front office staff, hygienist and dentist were nice and welcoming. Dr. Long takes his time to explain x-rays and recommended dental services! Wonderful experience!

I had an amazing 1st visit to Tracey Dental. The dentist was thorough, took his time and explained everything. I enjoyed that he was very hands on and knowledgeable. Answered my questions and concerns and gave me a care plan. I highly recommend Tracey Dental.

The staff was pleasant and receptive and helpful., and attentive to my questions. Amanda, the technician who took my X-rays was efficient and totally attentive to my discomfort during the process. She was conciliatory and genuinely concerned about my discomfort and made every effort to dispell my discomfort. She was marvelous and perfectly suited for her position and assigned duties. Dr. Long is a wonderful, communicative, compassionate and skilled practitioner. He is gracious, respectful and thoroughly relatable. It was almost a pleasure getting my teeth cleaned.

What a fantastic experience for myself, my husband, and my 4 year old. Dr. LONG IS AMAZING, CARING, AND ETHICAL. I have always been terrified of the dentist but this visit was very comfortable and easy going. My questions were answered and it was not a rushed experience. The staff was professional and kind. Can't say enough good things about this office!!! So happy I found my dentist for life and one my lil one can grow up and feel safe at.

I was very impressed with everyone at Tracey Dental. Just an overwhelming sense of let's get you taken care of! I have had issues with Dental coverage over the last 2 years (due to lapses in coverage from COVID pandemic). The staff quickly orchestrated a plan to get me back on track, polished those pearls, fixed a few issues and setup follow up appointments all in the first visit. Thanks Tracey Dental!

Dr. Long & All of his staff is Wonderful. Always friendly, always smiling, always sooo helpful. My procedure was great & I was not a fan of the dentist in regards to any pain. They helped me to feel at ease, always checked on me thruout the procedure. I appreciate you & Thank you! I prayed for a Dentist & God answered!
