Honestly, I would give it zero stars. I was quoted one price for my cleaning. The day of my cleaning my price quadrupled and I even had dental insurance. I called my insurance company and they advised that this office overcharged me and to demand a refund or else file a grievance. I contacted Cindy regarding this matter and was advised that a refund would be issued to me. It has now been a month and I have not received a refund so I contacted my bank and filed a dispute. I contacted Cindy to let her know I still have not received my refund and of course she has not contacted me back and has gone ghost on me so I felt I needed to write a review to warn others of this place. I will definitely be looking for a new dentist. This place is only good for taking your money and over charging you for services. PLEASE look elsewhere.

This has been a challenging experience all the way around. I want to start by saying that the ladies at the front desk, Carmen, Liberty, and the hygienists were wonderful, polite, and genuinely lovely people. That said it leaves me with the challenges. From the first visit it was not great. The first time I walked in the door for the intake appointment, the appointments I had made for the cleanings (which I had email confirmations for) had disappeared for both my children. They needed several fillings over the next 4 months and 6 additional appointments with email, text, and printed confirmations also mysteriously vanished. This caused delay in care for my son. But I powered on, thought it would work itself out. Then Dr. Nadal's poorly done work on my daughter put her in pain for 3 weeks, a repeated job by him, cost us an unnecessary visit to an Endodontist, and a visit to an emergency dentist with all cost out of pocket where the other dentist fixed the filling Dr. Nadal had failed to do properly twice. We will not be returning. Suggestion, if you have a problem with your appointments disappearing, ask to speak with anyone besides Cindy the office manager/ dentist's wife, she is passive aggressive, condescending, and speaks to the customers as if it is somehow their fault. She is a perfect example of the failures of nepotism.

Cindy the office manager needs to be fired! I have never encountered a person who is that rude and abrasive. If you have failures in your appointment making system you apologize and try to fix it. Blaming me for your failures is not the right way to go about anything.

Dr. Nadal is an incredibly skilled dentist with a warm personality and soothing demeanor, nothing like any other dentist I've been to--and I've been to many. Dr. Nadal and his extraordinary protege, Carla, are a dental dream team (if there's such a thing). Carla's personality is the perfect complement to Dr. Nadal's. He is quiet, comforting and mild-mannered and she brings the energy and laughs with you like she's known you all her life. Perfect balance, and great for calming your anxiety! They did an amazing job on my teenage daughter's complicated extraction--so much so that they ruined all other dentists for life. We had to go somewhere else for a root canal and all my daughter did was compare the experience to Dr. Nadal. I had to explain to her that he's one of a kind and so is his practice. I updated this review from 4 stars to 5 because we've been back again and the whole team is just exceptional. An extra special thank you to Cindy, Carmen and Carla (The 3 C's) for all your help on our recent visit and with scheduling!

I've been going to this place for 13 years. Cindy, The office manager needs an attitude adjustment. They continually reschedule appointments without consulting the client. I would not recommend this place to my least favorite person. I complained about being rescheduled she told me to find another dentist. I said I will fire my next appointment. She then said you won't be seen today.

Very disappointed. The first appointment I made was never put into their schedule, even though it was their mistake and it was pretty urgent, they did not fit us in quickly so we waited several more weeks for the new appointment. Then the morning of the rescheduled appointment they called to inform us the doctor would not be in and we would have to reschedule yet again. This is nearly two months waiting for an appointment. I will not be rescheduling with them and I wish I had looked elsewhere after the first issue.

Excellent customer service along with excellent clinical service. Hard to find both at the same place! I was there for my regular biannual cleaning. Everyone was so pleasant and professional. Carmen greeted me with a big smile, even Dr Nadal swung by to say hello and Sylvia is an excellent hygienist. My whole family loves this place.

Dr. Nadal is so calm, patient, efficient and amazing with young people. My girl was scare to be treated for her first cavity, she responded so well and I'm thrilled to have such a professional Dr. looking after her teeth. I'm grateful my daughter can have a positive association with a dentist and the staff. The dental assistant removed concern and did a great job with Dr Nadal! I would highly recommend them plus Carmen is amazing!

I'm editing a previous review and giving this business more stars because they have attempted to rectify my issue via a partial refund for services performed. They seem to be a reputable dentist office and they do offer a decent level of customer service. Just be aware that they will offer a large swath of services and it's up to you to decline or accept them. Do your homework about what your individual needs are, and you should be fine.

First time patient visiting the Towncare of Winter Park. The front door has a sign that says to call before entering, which was sent to voicemail 4 times. My 10am appt turned into 10:15am since I had to wait outside until someone came out. Finally someone was taking out the trash from a different door and told me that they would let the front desk know I was waiting outside. 4 minutes later I was let in. Cindi "office manager"/ "hygienist" said that their calls are transferred to a Miami call center and she also gave me 3 minutes of how they need to disinfect the office. The office manager Cindi also said that I needed new Xrays and "A-Z" before I am granted a cleaning. I mentioned that my previous dentist sent all of my information. She went back to check and came back to say that she only had xrays from 2018, when I knew that she was emailed a current Xray and "smx" from my previous dentist before I came. I actually called my previous dentist to confirm. Immediately, I felt compelled to say that I have read some of your reviews and don't want to be a victim of being charged for something that I don't need to be charged for, as I have read on your reviews. It turned sour after that. Just wanted to share for future new patients who might gain some insight from this!

I'm not usually one to write reviews, but I've had consistent bad experiences here. Every time I go in to get dental work done my medical chart has been combined with another family member's. They have tried giving me the wrong treatment multiple times thinking I was the other person. I've notified them of the mistake in the chart and it continues to be a problem as they have never corrected it. Just yesterday, they tried to numb my mouth for a normal cleaning thinking that I needed a different procedure. The lack of attention detail and professionalism is astonishing. As someone who has dental insurance, they're always looking for a way to up-charge without telling you up front. You go in for your six month cleaning thinking that it's covered by your insurance only to find out that they gave you an extra treatment not covered by your insurance yet were never told and not given the option to accept or deny the treatment.

I have been a patient of Towncare Dental Winter Park for many years. My last visit was in Dec. 2020. I am in a wheelchair. This facility is not handicapped accessible. The bathroom is not large enough for my wheelchair to enter the bathroom. When approaching the exam room for cleaning by the hygienist they had not prepared the room for me. 2 of the assistants pushed the dental chair against the wall so that I could ride my power wheelchair in the exam room. By this time there were about 4 office staff watching. I was struggling to get out of my chair. Only 2 assistants were in the exam room helping me. The room was so small that my caregiver could not get into the room to help me. There were other office workers standing and observing. I was 10 mins late arriving because I was not feeling well that day. I was having difficulty transferring from the wheelchair to the dental. Chair because there was not adequate room for proper placement of my feet to stand and transfer. Finally the office staff turned the chair diagonally and I was able to transfer. By this time it was 45 minutes later and others were complaining about their appointments not starting. The office manager walked back and started yelling at me that I needed to arrive one hour before my appointment time and I needed to bring 3 to 4 caregivers to assist me. She could not provide staff to assist me and because it was so late, the hygienist would need to reschedule me. The hygienist was not one of the 5 office workers that was in the room assisting or watching. My caregiver was very upset because the office manager made an assumption but did not know what the problem was. I said I was not leaving until my teeth were cleaned because I was only 10 minutes late. It was 2 hours before I was seen. I was livid and did not think the office manager was professional at all. She started yelling at me when I was checking out infront of office staff, and other customers. I was to angry to respond and did not want to lower myself to her rudeness so I didnot address her behavior. When I left I called back on my way home. I was told she could not take my call at time. I called everyday over the next 3 weeks and was told she could not take my call. She even answered the phone 1 day and said she was on another call and would call me right back. I tried calling the Towncare dental in Longwood to get the regional manager to report the incident. They took my info and gave me a contact number. I only received a voice-mail in which I left several messages and never received a return call. Tuesday I received a reminder call for an upcoming appointment on Tuesday April 13, 2021. I called back and asked the receptionist to please cancel all future appointments and I will notify them of where to forward my records once I located a dentist. The receptionist asked if there was something she could help with. I reminded her I called for 3 weeks requesting to speak with the office manager and she failed to return my call, so the office manager was who I needed to speak with. It has been 2 days and still no call back from Cindy the office manager. I am saddened because I have spent thousands of dollars at this office and I have been a patient for many years.
