Dr. Eric De Boef opened Town Square Dental Care, Oskaloosa, in 2003 after he graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry. Eric grew up in rural Iowa and is privileged to be living and practicing in the same area in which he was raised. Growing up in a tight-knit farming family instilled in him the values of generosity, restoration, open-heartedness, hard work, teachability and honoring others. These values have become the foundation of his practices.
Dr. De Boef also enjoys meeting and mentoring dental students and resourcing dental teams in private practice to foster individual and community growth. This passion has become a niche and he and his team offer consulting services to support dental practices in need.
Eric and his wife, Amy, have been blessed with six children. Eric is actively involved in his church, childrens activities and passing on his values to his family. He enjoys farming and seasonal outdoor activities, whether they be work or sport. He is an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan.
Growing up, Dr Kara Weishaar enjoyed going to the dentist. While receiving orthodontic treatment as a teenager, her interest in dentistry as a career was ignited. Kara joined Town Square Dental Care after graduating from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2013.
Born and raised in Oskaloosa, Dr Weishaar feels a strong connection to central Iowa and the people who live there. She strives to create a gentle and trusting environment with her patients and enjoys working with all ages, including young children. Kara stays active in the community as a member of the Golden Goose Club and continues to pursue vocational training via her many professional memberships to ensure she is providing the best dentistry possible.

I was a little late but they took me anyway. (I had called ahead). Appt was for a large filling with Dr. Eric. He was so fast and totally painless. Thank you!!

Doctor Bryn Boswell, his colleagues and the staff are amazing! My wife and I couldn't have a better place to take care of such an important thing as our teeth! Prices are fair and our insurance covers a good part of them. We highly recommend Town Square Dental!

Awesome doctors, hygienists, and assistants!! I would give a five star but the billing department is horrid didn't inform about out of network costs and insurance. Chimps could operate a factory better the billing department.

Town Square Dental Care was most excellent! I felt welcome from the minute I walked in the door. Everyone was kind and helpful. The hygienist and dentist were both very courteous and attentive to my teeth sensitivities, and knowledgeable about dental health. I would recommend these folks to anyone looking for a caring, positive dental experience in a lovely setting.

I just went in for my 1st dentist appointment in this area and was very impressed with the staff as well as the office. Everyone was super friendly and the office was very clean and organized. I went in thinking that I was going to just get an exam today but they fixed a few of my problem teeth as well. Yay!

After a not so pleasant experience with another dentist in osky i went to town square in desperation. Suffering from a broken tooth and having been cancelled 30 minutes prior to my appt across town, I walked into town square and requested to be seen. They got me an appt for just 2.5 hours later and were very prompt. Not only were the clerical staff helpful and pleasant but the hygienist and doctor were phenomenal. Procedures were performed with competency and timeliness. The doctor explained things as she did them which is unfortunately not a common courtesy most other places. I will be returning here for my entire family's dental needs and routine maintenance. Thank you for the excellent care!

I can not say enough good things about the entire staff in this office ! They are absolutely amazing! My poor son had a infected wisdom tooth and we couldn't find anywhere to get him in last minute notice as our regular dentist closed unexpectedly. They got him in extracted the tooth and gave the best service and bedside care ! A very good size tooth for my 15 year old and he barley has any pain hours after ! Definitely recommend them to everyone ! Thank you Doctor Eric and Staff!

Amazing practice! I used them for over 10 years before I moved. Now we are back in osky and are returning and now with our 4 year old. They are amazing with her. It is like coming home.

Eric and the team at Town Square Dental Care do an awesome job! I had a chip filling crack and the team was able to fit me into their schedule within a couple days and was able to replace the filling.
