Dr. Alvaro Betancur has been a dentist in Boca Raton since 1990. He is also licensed in Hawaii since 1990. Dr. Betancur underwent Sinus Lift, Implants and Bone Grafting training at the University of Miami in 1994, TMJ and Craniofacial Pain Management at University of Florida 1995, and Advanced Bone Grafting and Sinus Lift Training at Dr. Pikos' Institute. Dr. Betancur has extensive experience in Sinus Lifts, Bone Grafting, Wisdom Teeth Surgery, and the use of Growth Factors since 2000. He is also the inventor of BCTSP - blood collection tubes steri-pack.
Dr. Betancur started a program to help needed people to obtain dental emergency services at a church medical center since the 1990s. Dr. Betancur donates his time to Our Lady Queen of Peace church patients twice a month for more than 20 years.
Claudia Santamaria has been a hygienist in Florida for more than 25 years. Claudia takes her time with her work to ensure her patients leave satisfied. When out of the office Claudia uses her time as a director of a medical device company related to dentistry. In her free time Claudia enjoys spending time with her two kids and going to the gym.
She enjoys all phases of dentistry and the interaction with patients. She especially enjoys getting to know them. The best part of her job is the smile on her satisfied patients faces after a procedure.
Dr. Patricia Brandao is a dentist recently graduated in Brasil. Currently, she has a Florida license as a dental hygienist and she will be going to a dental school and be able to take the board exam to obtain a Florida dentist license. At the meantime she is our dental hygienist for Saturdays and late weekdays. She has a great personality and is always ready to help. Patricia and Pamela are sisters that enjoy working together and helping our patients to keep healthy and beautiful smiles
