Dr. Knott was drawn to healthcare from an early age. Her childhood dentist actually asked her to become his dental assistant, and she ended up loving it. She worked for him until she left for college and continued to help out whenever she was home. She ended up going to dental school with his son! Dentistry grabbed her because she liked the idea of helping people, whether it involves getting them out of pain or enhancing their smiles, plus the profession allowed her to have a good work-life balance.

Dr. Knott grew up in Borger, TX, a small town in the Panhandle where she graduated in the top 3% of her class. After spending a year at a local junior college, she attended Texas A&M University. She graduated in 1999 with a bachelors in science in Civil Engineering but decided that her true passion was dentistry. She was accepted at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio where she graduated in 2003. After working as an associate throughout the Dallas Metroplex, she opened Town Center Dental in March 2006.

Dr. Knott has three energetic boys who take up most of her free time. Aiden, Patrick, and Kyle are involved in sports year-round, so keeping up with all of their games is nearly a full-time job in itself! When she isnt busy cheering on her kids, Dr. Knott is an avid reader (particularly FBI murder mystery thrillers), and she also likes to paint and walk her Labrador, Lacey.

Karen and her husband have one son named Braden who is currently in college. As for hobbies, she spends as much free time as possible with her family, traveling to the beach, boating, and enjoying the outdoors. She also likes to plant flowers, go antique shopping, and try new restaurants. Recently, she even redesigned their lake house!

Barbara has been a dental professional for over 15 years, and for her, the best part of her job is getting to know her patients and educating them about the oral-systemic link. By cleaning patients teeth and telling them how their dental health affects their overall health, shes able to make a real difference in their lives, and this gives her life purpose. For her dental training, she attended the New York University College of Dentistry, and she has certifications in laser dentistry and oral anesthesia/nitrous oxide.

Originally from the Gulf Coast of Florida, Barbara and her husband, Bryan, have a son, Brandon, as well as a dog, Brooklyn. She enjoys a wide array of hobbies, from paddleboarding to gardening to canning and pickling to macrame and more. Be sure to ask about her latest project when you see her!

Michaelangelo has been working in the dental field for over 15 years now, having studied at the University of Texas Health Science Center. He is also a Registered Dental Assistant! Today, what he enjoys most about his job is providing quality care that helps alleviate the stresses and headaches of dealing with dental insurance companies.

A Dallas native, Michaelangelo has two older siblings. In his free time, he enjoys being a Jack of All Trades and trying all sorts of new things, even if they scare him. He also LOVES watching The Big Bang Theory.
