I may not be able to change the world, but through great dentistry I can make a positive impact on peoples' lives, one smile at a time. Oral health impacts us in so many ways, from how we feel about ourselves and how others view us to how we feel physically. By helping patients maintain good oral health I can help them look and feel wonderful. Many of my patients have allowed me to care for them for many years. I get to know them and their families. It is a long-term relationship that is more than just dentistry. It's about trust and doing the best for each patient.

I attended Indiana University for my undergraduate education, earning a degree in Biological Sciences. I continued on to Indiana University School of Dentistry where I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery degree.

Since dentistry is an ever-changing profession I strive to stay updated with the current modes of treatment. This is done by taking a wide range of continuing education classes. These classes range from new dental materials, endodontics, cosmetic dentistry, oral surgery and implant dentistry, just to name a few.

As a member of Westgate Chapel for over 30 yearsI've enjoyed serving in many capacities including working with young children in Sunday School, being involved as a Deacon, and participating in outreach activities. It is a very important aspect of my life. I also work several days each month at the Dental Center of Northwest Ohio, Findlay office, providing care for those in need. I am a past Toledo Dental Society board member and taught in the dental hygiene department at Owens Community College for a number of years. I was Chair of the parent-teacher organization at my sons' school and enjoy going to schools to educate young children on proper dental care.

I have a wonderful wife, Janet, who I have been married to for over 30 years. We have two fantastic sons, Andrew and Timothy, who are both attending college. I enjoy spending my free time with my family and friends, traveling, cooking, gardening, and skiing. I am still trying to decide whether or not I enjoy golf!
