Dr. Cristiana Oltean relocated to the US where she continued her studies at the University of Colorado Dental School. She received her Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2010. Dr. Oltean continued her post doctoral studies in the General Practice Residency Program at CU where she received advanced education in restorative dentistry, oral surgery, implant dentistry, and aesthetic dentistry.
Upon recommendation of the faculty, Dr. Cristiana Oltean received the award in Exemplary ethics in dentistry by the American College of Dentists. Dr. Cristiana Oltean completed a variety of continuing education in the field of dental implants and cosmetic dentistry. She is very caring, gentle, passionate about dentistry and committed to providing the highest dental experience to her patients.
Cristiana and Flaviu met during the 2nd year of Dental School. They were married in 2002 and they have a 7-year-old son Radu. When not treating patients, they enjoy family time and the great Colorado outdoors.
Dr. Flaviu Oltean worked as a dental technician for 8 years prior to and during dental school. He completed the General Practice Residency program in the Army in his home country of Romania. He then maintained a dental practice for 2 years with his wife Cristiana.
Dr. Oltean and his family then relocated to the United States where he continued his studies through the completion of the DDS program at the University of Colorado Dental School. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 2009 and received awards of excellence in both prosthodontics and productivity.
He has been practicing in Denver since 2009 while also working as faculty in the restorative department at the University of Colorado Dental School. Dr. Oltean has completed a variety of continuing education in the field of implants and cosmetic dentistry both in the USA and Europe.
He is caring, compassionate, and ensures the patient receives the highest quality of treatment possible. Dr. Oltean is a member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Metropolitan Denver Dental Association and the Academy of Osseointegration.

I called this place because my insurance said I would be covered and it was easy to set up an appointment. I gave the lady my insurance ID# and a few numbers to call to verify my insurance before my appointment. I received a call a few days before my appointment notifying me that they could not find my insurance and may be out of network. They told me they would reschedule for the next week and didn't ask for my availability regarding days and time. I was sent a text stating I was rescheduled for a day and time when I work. Then called again a few days before that appointment to cancel it again. Very frustrating process.

The dental hygienists are excellent; very knowledgeable and understanding. The staff are all lovely people. I do think Dr Flaviu could work a little on his communication. Like when I asked if I should get my wisdom teeth removed he said, "if you want." I don't think anyone wants to undergo surgery if it's unnecessary...the question is whether it's necessary. But that's really my only issue. Full disclosure, I received a gift card for leaving a review. I feel a little bad for ruining their perfect streak, but you learn more from your mistakes than you do from your successes.
