Dr. B. Jason Toups grew up in Rayne, LA and graduated from Notre Dame High School of Acadia Parish in 1990. Dr. J first attended USL, where he received a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree. After working for a few years in the field, he decided to pursue a dental degree.
In 2006, he earned his DDS degree from the accredited Louisiana State University School of Dentistry in New Orleans. After school, he gained experience working alongside his dad, Dr. Brent F. Toups, in the family dental practice.
Having an on-site dental lab, Dr. Toups grew up learning how to set teeth for removable cases. With his degree in art, he has a keen awareness and ability with aesthetics. He also has an understanding of symmetry and balance, which enhances his ability to create a beautiful smile using crowns, partials, and dentures as an artist.
Away from the office, Dr. J spends time with his wife Jamie, and their daughters, Lucy, Zoe and Celie. His goal as a doctor is to enjoy all aspects of dentistry, especially building long-term relationships with his patients.
Kelsey has been a part of Toups Family Dentistry for 4 years. She was born and raised in Rayne, Louisiana. She studied pre-dental hygiene at ULL and completed her bachelors degree in dental hygiene at the University of Louisiana in Monroe.
During her free time, she enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews and spending time with her family. She believes the best part of working at Toups Family Dentistry is taking a patient who has had a bad experience with other dentist offices and changing their outlook on coming to the dentist by making their experience a positive one.
