I highly recommend Total Health Dentistry. They were very friendly. I am someone who has a lot of anxiety when it comes to going to the dentist. They made me feel comfortable and talked me through the whole process. They constantly made sure I was feeling OK and comfortable. They never made me feel awkward or ashamed. I have never had such a wonderful experience at a dentist office.

I debated on writing this review as I do not want to make it seem as if I'm bashing anyone here and realize people jobs (who also have families) may be at stake, however after giving it some thought I do not want anyone else with young children to experience what I have at Total Health dentistry. My opinion is they are not experienced or equipped to deal with young children who are scared of treatment and they need to be more upfront about that. If they cannot do great work on a child be upfront and give your expert opinion of the best treatment for the child. Even if it may not be at your practice. There is a reason many kids may need some type of sedation for treatment and I see and understand that now. Last year my 4 year old son had a cavity and the work was done sub par by Dr. Holt due to my son moving and crying out of fear. She had very little patience for him and essentially demanded I make him stop and couldn't do the work as it should have been. Fast forward a year later and he ended up in severe pain in the same tooth. We were back today and Dr. Hartman said the filling fell out and we again paid full price to have the same tooth filled of $217. The work was never done right the first time and I personally feel we should not have been charged again. Money aside My son could hardly fall asleep tonight thinking about his experience and how scary it was and if your child is fearful just go to a pediatric dentist. They are not equipped nor have the patience or attitude for little ones when doing filling work and I'm realizing now why there are very few reviews raving about how well they did with their young child. Don't make the mistake I did here. I severely regret leaving the pediatric dentist in Port Matilda when he was 2.

I went in with no pain at all for an exam and have regretted it since. There were mistakes made at all 3 appointments. The first was an xray that didn't show the whole tooth to where after being told they don't see anything I had to ask for a second xray this time of of whole tooth instead of the bottom half, then an issue was found. The second was a basic exam where the dentist pushed a tool through the top of my tooth that caused horrible pain for the next week, I was in constant tears. I didn't NEED to go, I just wanted an exam. So I made a follow up for the tooth that was hurt and needed some work done anways so I didn't mind paying for it. A cavity on top was filled and the top of my tooth was shaped so poorly it now constantly cuts my tongue, the filling has spilled over to cover part of another tooth so I cannot floss there and put pressure on it. There is a constant sharp stabbing pain. After $700 spent there all I have in terrible pain that is so bad it's ruining my quality of life and future payments I'll have to pay at another dentist to fix this work. It was only 1 tooth I had work on, I've never had worse work done to me.

My teeth always feel so awesome after my cleaning. The hygienist did a great job and was fun to talk to, and the entire staff were friendly, professional, and interested in providing me a good dental experience. The atmosphere at Total Health Dentistry is warm, fun, and comfortable... unlike so many dental office experiences.

I cannot say enough good things about this dentist office and all of their staff. They all do exceptional work and I know that I am in good hands while there. They offer both natural and healthier options for all your dental needs as well as use new technology to up your game on your oral health and give you insight into your overall health. Every person that I have encountered at this office has gone above and beyond to insure all my concerns and fears were addressed and put to ease, whether regarding a treatment plan, scheduling or payments. I highly recommend them to everyone.

I've been going for less than a year but in that short time they have done more to heal the peridontal problems than with others that I've gone to for yrs. The other gave me no hope of curing the problem. Just keep treating the symptoms. Very happy and glad I found Total health!
