I've visited THDC five times in about six weeks, including the intake session at the Berkeley location. The team is so professional, friendly, and kind! They've helped me with insurance mishaps, calmly and efficiently performed cleanings and fillings, and fit me in at the last second when a different tooth unexpectedly chipped. They explain procedures and costs in detail, then do exactly as promised. Every single person is excellent at their job, which makes me feel taken care of as a patient, and has a good vibe, which makes me happy to come in.

This is a great dental office and have been so happy with the transition from when Dr. McKinzie owned it. The team is so friendly and professional. Everyone has such a welcoming and caring bedside manner. I couldn't be happier with them!

Since Dr. McKinzie retired, I've been very happy with Total Dental Health. The staff is always so kind, patient, and helpful. The dentist is very gentle and has performed several procedures on me that I have forgotten that I had any work done as it feels so natural like my own teeth. I appreciate the reminder system as well, email, text, phone calls- with my schedule I need as much advanced notice and reminders as possible.

All the team members at the Grand office always provide excellent care and service. I went in for a teeth cleaning today with Debbie and left feeling happier and more confident about my smile. They're always gentle, kind, and take the time to answer all of my questions. Super helpful and attentive.

The dentist had a phone appointment with me and showed up 20 minutes late. This is totally unacceptable and unprofessional.

Overall, the dentist and staff were friendly and professional. The experience felt a little impersonal, as this was my first visit with this dentist. I am not sure I will return, as I miss the connection I have felt with my previous dentist. The model of this practice is to go to a central location for initial X-rays and consult with a virtual dentist. Then you see a treating dentist for any procedures and cleanings. What is missing for me is the opportunity to create rapport with the dentist, which often happens with the initial visit. I need that sense of rapport and connection with my dentist.

Horrible take over of what had been a great practice. Since they took over Dr. Scott McKinzie's practice, I've had billing issues, scheduling issues, they're unresponsive to inquiries, and now I'm having issues with transfer of my medical records. I can't leave them fast enough.

First off I have to say that the dentist and hygienists working here are all five stars. They're super friendly and I've had nothing but positive experiences with them. This review is for the billings department that's been an absolute nightmare to work with. I had a confusing insurance issue arise and they have been unhelpful in solving it with me. They don't return messages after several calls, they say they'll email and don't. Unfortunately I can't return to this dentist after the amount of fuss this recent visit has been.
