I have always been a patient with severe dental office anxiety. I have even cancelled appointments out of fear. In two weeks, I have needed to visit three Total Health locations for various procedures and to say that I had a great experience was an understatement. Each location (Berkeley, Rotunda, 15th Ave Oakland) makes you feel so welcome and see that comfortability sets in (yes, even while getting a root canal) I cannot emphasis my recommendation for this provider enough! They are truly wanting you to feel at ease throughout the entire experience. Again, endlessly grateful!

Excellent office staff. Office is refreshing and clean. Dental hygienists and tech staff is patient and thorough. Dr. Vaashi is gentle, and has an awesome bedside manner. Outstanding review for an office who has earned it consistently!

Dr. Vashi is one of the best and takes a holistic approach to dental health. For instance I grind my teeth at night and instead of just giving me a night guard Dr. Vashi explained the reasoning behind teeth grinding - a lack of oxygen to the brain due to jaw positioning - he set me up with a comfortable wearable device that actually holds my jaw in a new way while I sleep allowing me to get proper airflow. Completely did away with the teeth grinding and majorly improved the quality of my sleep!

The folks at Total Health Dental Care are awesome! After years of neglecting my dental care, I went to them. They are non-judgemental and super caring. Everyone who works there (at multiple locations) is an absolute GEM! If you have any sort of dental anxiety, I would definitely look into this team.
