Terrible place. No walls or doors. You're exposed to other patients who are getting work done less than 3 feet away. No COVID safety protocols in place.

I've been to Total Health twice now and each experience has been wonderful. The dental hygienist Nicole is super friendly and caring. She is thorough and explains the steps of care very well. I give Total Health on Alameda my highest recommendation!

I came from a traditional dentist practice, but coming to this place with an Opencare refferal. They were very transparent in what they were doing and why. They were informative throughout the process. They are trying to utilize the newest technologies in dentistry in order to make our experience as patients better. I like the place

Just got off my Dental appointment with DR. H. & Co. I've been going here at the Marina Office at 809 Marina Village Pkwy in Alameda, CA. Great and pleasant Dental Team abd stuff, quiet and serene location, easy to get to. Above all, I prefer their Holistic approach towards Holistic Dentistry and Care. They have their own manufacturing and distribution for Holistic Healing and Refreshing mouthwash made from herbs, roots and tree bark. I highly recommend them for any Dental work you may require.

Interesting new way for dentistry. No dentist on premises for my cleaning. Received x-rays and these x-rays were sent virtually to dentist who will review. if he/she finds something that is in question, you will be contacted via zoom for a recommended procedure. Staff is nice and pleasant. Justine was gentle and thorough with my cleaning! Virtual visit with doctor was alittle weird, since I'm not use to that and it was abit difficult to hear , music in the background and receptionist talking to patients.

I came in for a dental emergency for an 8yr old in pain from a toothache, only to be told that he needed 3 extractions...but there was no dentistist on-site and had to wait until Friday...4 days away to treat him. Then they had the nerve to tell me it was going to be $4200 to remove 3 baby teeth. I got up and left and told them they were crazy and trying to price gouged patients. Completely ridiculous

Scam! Got up from the chair and walked out. I cracked my tooth on an olive pit and I scheduled an appointment to have it looked at. My appointment was 6 business days later. I was literally called every single day in an attempt to up-sell me to a same day cleaning. Every time I said "I'd really like to have my broken tooth looked at before deciding next steps". I showed up to my appointment to a renamed office, which was under construction. As I was checking in the receptionist told me I would be doing x-rays and started mentioning some other options, at which point I said "I really just want to get my broken tooth checked out.". She said "Yeah that's what we'll do". She then walks me back to the chair and proceeds to tell me that "as you can see we're under construction, this is our "Hygiene Bar", so the dentist will be calling over video and I'll be conducting your exams." Finally she says "So you said you want to have something removed?". That's when I got up and walked out. Being that they called me everyday, and everyday I told them what I needed to have done, they really should have told me I wouldn't be seeing a dentist and at very least should have known why I was coming in. Horrible experience, definitely avoid this place.
