Dr Pelak is a very good dentist. Great with people and Total Dentistry provides a very friendly and Professional atmosphere. Friendly staff and Hygienists. Happy that i found them for my dental needs.

We've ran into some interesting things here.... appointments being set without us setting them, getting confirmations for appointments that don't exist, sending other family members in for appointments that were ours... it's very weird. I had a light gum surgery done at this practice last spring and while that was fine, I think my tooth is damaged from it. It also feels very sales-y when you go in for just a cleaning. We were told we need braces when we've already had them, etc. We are on the search for a new practice; we were referred here because my cousin Mark Pusateri passed away. Nothing like his practice whatsoever. The staff is very nice but there's too much inconsistency for us to trust them.

This place is a complete joke. We recently moved to the area and were looking for a new dentist. My wife picked this place because it had o.k. reviews. I'm not sure where she looked, because they're terrible. First, they entered our insurance information wrong and were extremely rude about it, telling us that we didn't have insurance and needed to contact our insurance. We went the rounds with them, telling them we were covered only to have them tell us we weren't, over and over. The clueless office staff never bothered to check the number THEY ENTERED INCORRECTLY!!! We called our insurance company, and they called their "billing" office and discovered the bad entry and fixed it in about 5 minutes. Second, they are EXTREMELY overpriced. We've had this exact same service done elsewhere, so we knew what to expect for a price. To do a root canal and crown, they wanted almost $5,000 and they required prepayment because "our insurance isn't adjusting the price so that's what you owe. We've billed them and they haven't responded. You don't have insurance." Again, THEY MESSED UP OUR INSURANCE INFORMATION!! This price is almost double what anyone else charges for the same service and they require you to pre-pay. Our insurance told us that until the procedure is finished, they won't respond or make payment. Did I mention that they're extremely rude, condescending and inconsiderate of others? Third, the dentist sucks. The care is terrible. It took more than three weeks to get a root canal and a crown. THREE WEEKS!!! Our last dentist did the entire procedure the same day, in the office. It's a trifecta: Bad care, over-priced, incompetent staff. What more could you want. Run away. Go anywhere else, but don't go here.

I had a 2 fillings done there that failed after 14 days. I was told that I needed a different type to fix it for $1200. Otherwise I can get the exact same type to fix it for free. So I got the free fix since Charging me $1200 to fix their mistake seemed dishonest to me. They failed after 10 days. I spent a small fortune there and couldn't get a straight answer on prices almost ever. One person was one price, another was a different price. The implants went well so far at least I guess but I definitely feel like I was ripped off since I still have teeth with cracked fillings and pain.

Staff was welcoming, efficient and helpful. Gave lots of information and asked repeatedly if I had any questions. All current issues were addressed as well as possible future issues. My teeth feel great after my visit and I will continue visiting this practice!

My son is scared to go to the dentist. He had a tooth pain so a make an appointment. Dr. Pelak and her team did excellent work, and they did everything to calm my son. They were patient, empathetic, genuinely cared about my son aniexty and went above and beyond to make him comfortable. This was my first appointment with them. I broke a 15 year old veneer and I called the office at 8:30 am the next morning. They were able to get me in for an overdue cleaning and consult on my options at 9am. I have heard Dr. Pelak advertise on a local radio station for years and finally got to see the lady behind the voice. I kind of felt like I knew her already. Everyone was very professional and seemed very happy to be there. Very positive environment and the turnaround to get my temp veneer was 2 days later. I'm very happy with my experience so far and would highly recommend Total Dentistry to anyone.
