I have been going to Total Dental Care for years. My experiences have always been wonderful. The staff are very helpful and courteous. The Dental hygienists and Dentists are wonderful and very caring. I have never had a bad experience. I moved to GA a year ago, and come back to Durham for my Dental care.

This dentist office is hands down the best from the business manager to the dentist himself Eric Davis. I wouldn't trust my teeth to anyone else. His office exhibits professionalism, phenomenal work, and just good ole hospitality. How many dentist offices ask do you want a blanket? If you're ever in need of any type of dental work Eric Davis is the man!!!

Will never go back, many other options. During a crown install, broke an adjacent tooth, which then required another crown. Today, my appt (which I made 3 months ago with Kyle) was no where to be found when I arrived at 11:00 am. Avoid!

I was overcharged almost $300 for a regular cleaning I was told I had already paid for in the plan I bought in advanced. I had confirmed the cost before the appointment because I paid for 2 cleanings in the plan in advance. I had a wonderful experience with the dental hygenist, but when I was done, the front desk said they made a mistake. I waited to talk to the manager Dawn Bollinger. Manager, Dawn, had a condescending demeanor and shifted blame saying I wasn't acting like an adult and it was partly my fault because I didn't reference my own records, and instead I asked the person who scheduled me if the cleaning was covered. After hours waiting for Dawn to return from lunch, and an hour of discussing with Dawn, I was only overcharged ~$150. The issue is blaming and charging clients for a business error. The software makes it difficult for the front desk to read how many cleanings a person has had, and they seem shortstaffed. Though front desk folks have been very helpful and compassionate. If I knew the cost in advance, I would've gone to the place which had more expertise in the area I needed, but I didn't want to waste money, and decided to do my cleaning here.

This was the most pleasant dental office visit I've ever experienced. The front desk professionals were very helpful and the medical staff provided honest professional advice. I actually look forward to future visits and successful resolutions to oral issues.

The reviews are right, stay away from this place. This was my first time there, so I didn't know what to expect. They do everything over the phone, including calling multiple times. They called 2 hours before my appointment and asked if I could come in early. I came in early and they told me they took someone else and to wait until my original appointment time. The location leaves a lot to be desired. Look elsewhere.
