At Total Dental Care, we strive to provide world-class dental care with a small-town feel. Using the latest techniques and technology, our dedicated team provides extraordinary care to our patients and our community.

Teamwork - Teamwork makes the dream work! It may sound corny but it's true. We are all a happier, healthier bunch when we help each other- help with instruments, help with room cleanup, help with front office tasks... when you're done with your work, look around to see how you can help someone else. This is a cornerstone of who we are at Total Dental Care. We look for people who share this belief and live it out every day.

Community Service -We have been abundantly blessed by this community! We were welcomed here in 2010 and have been treated like locals ever since. We have made it our goal to always treat our community like family. We aim to support as many community events as we can, both financially and with our presence. We look for team members who value service as much as we do.

Our goal is to provide all our patients' dental care under one roof. Our doctors attend far more than the required amount of continuing education each year in order to provide many premium dental services that are not available in many general practices- things like sedation dentistry, dental implants, sleep apnea appliances, root canal therapy, wisdom tooth removal and three types of orthodontics just to name a few.

We also strive to care for all members of the family in one place. We see children starting at age 3, and continue that care through the senior years of life. For our young patients, we offer a special play area called the No-Cavity Kids Club- it has a television, chalkboard wall, train table and lots of fun toys. We also have a monthly coloring contest with winner announced at the first of each month.

For our working patients, our extended hours provide convenience- they can comeat 7:00ambefore work starts, or in the evening after work ends. The Wifi and charging station in the lobby is a hit with them as well.

Total Dental Care was founded in 2010 by Dr. Chris Harper and his wife Carol. We were originally located at312 Gunter Avenuein Guntersville. We had a small staff and just 4 treatment rooms. We operated in that location for about 3 years while we built our new office at1724 Gunter Avenue.

In October 2012, we moved into our current location. The new facility includes a Cone-beam xray unit which can take 3D images for dental implants, and can take cephalometric images for orthodontics. It also includes a private surgical suite where we offer sedation dentistry for our nervous patients. In June 2013, Dr. Aaron George and his wife Mollie joined the practice and we increased the staff size from 6 to 12. With two doctors and a larger staff working alternating schedules, we were able to be open on Fridays and extend our hours to7:00am-6:00pm. Then in June 2017, Dr. Austin Baker joined Total Dental Care and the staff grew again to 18. At this point, we are able to have two doctors there most of the time, which allows us the flexibility to see emergency patients when they need to be seen.

I cannot say enough good things about total dental! They go above and beyond for their patients and their community. I usually see Dr Baker who is always professional and friendly. The star of the show is definitely my hygienist Sharon Saylor. She takes the best care of my teeth and has remembered little details since my very first time (one detail being that I have only used a green toothbrush since I was in the 4th grade. So she always puts a green one in my bag.) I feel spoiled to say the least! I seen Dr. Harper when Dr. Baker was out of the office and he was just as great! This office really flows well.
