I grew up in Tallahassee, watchedmy dad practice dentistry, and saw how he helped his patients. From a young age, I thought being a dentist was the best thing one could be. I attended Florida State University for my undergraduate degree, and the University of Florida for my Doctorate of Dental Medicine. I do have a little fun being bi-collegiate, giving FSU fans a hard time about UF and vice versa!
By actively participating in continuing education, I am able to stay current on the latest technology and dental treatments. My patients deserve the best, and continuing education allows me to provide my patients with more options and better results.
The dental field has changed faster in the past 20 years than in the previous 100 years. Being mechanically inclined, I have always loved new tools and toys, and as a dentist, I get to add these new technologies to our office. This enables me to provide some of the most advanced and innovative services and techniques, andhelp our patients live with confidence.
I met my wife the year before starting dental school; we have been together almost three decades. Our children and grandchildren are amazing, beautiful, and my greatest blessing. Our current children at home include a Chinese Crested and a Toy Poodle.
When I get a little free time, I enjoy traveling in our RV, spending time with grandchildren, and, when at home, alwaysworking on one project or another. I love taking the grandkids to the campsites atDisneys Fort Wilderness Resort. When its just my wife and me, we enjoy visiting the Keys.
I am blessed to be part of such a wonderful community, and I believe strongly in giving back to those who have given so much to me over the years. I do pro bono dental work for several local organizations, support local students, and sponsor and donate to local charities. One of my favorite annual events is the American Cancer Society Relay for Life.

I oversee and manage all aspects of the practice, including staff, payroll, accounts, and marketing. Since joining the practice in 1997, Ive loved getting to know all our wonderful patients and their families, and being a part of changing their lives for the better. Being that Dr. Wollschlager is my husband, our practice is truly like family, and every member of our team has become a vital part of it.
Dr. Wollschlager and I met before he started dental school. Weve been together for 28 years and married for 22. Our family includes ourthree children, four amazing and beautiful grandchildren, and two dogs (our current children at home now). We love traveling in our RV every chance we get. My favorite things are the outdoors, warm sunshine, working in the yard, and spending time with my grandchildren.
I have worked along Dr. Wollschlager since 1999, after receiving my expanded functions certificates and X-ray certification at Tallahassee Community College in 1993. My gentle and outgoing personality helps our patients feel comfortable and have the most pleasant dental experience possible. Working here with Dr. Wollschlager and the rest of our team allows me to thrive by learning new ways to bring smiles to patients.

Should you have any dental anxiety, we will talk with you about your fears and help you to work through them. We also offer sedation dentistry, so you can sleep through your procedure and wake recalling nothing.

Early for appointment so she took me early. Friendly and caring. The only thing I didn't like was the fluoride treatment. Wanted to have my teeth cleaned all over again.

I'm a forty year old cis male from Crawfordville. I hadn't been to see a dentist for like 25+ years, but I knew that I had some issues. I sent in an appointment request via their website's messaging feature. Within 48 hours I got the call back and scheduled my initial appointment. Was it cheap? Nope. Did I feel respected and like I had received the best care available? ABSOLUTELY!!! Well, that was three weeks ago and today I had four extractions (my wisdom teeth), one root canal and two crowns completed during one 4.5 hour visit. In the days leading up, I was terrified! I don't think I've ever been as shaken as I was at the thought of someone violating my mouth in this way. Now it's done and, by far, THIS WAS THE BEST DECISION THAT IVE EVER MADE!!! I felt the sensation of pain NOT EVEN ONCE!!! For me, choosing the right dentist is a lot like buying a cup of coffee. If you want the best, then you know upfront that it is going to cost more. When I walked into Dr. Wollschlager's office, I wasn't expecting to pay for a cup of gas station coffee and receive a fresh cup of Starbucks. I was expecting to pay more for better and that's exactly what I got!!! Thanks Dr. Wollschlager, Andrea and all of the other fine folks at Total Care Dental!!!!!!

I was on vacation from Michigan when my crown fell out. I called Total Care Dental to see if they could help as it was going to be awhile before I could get back to my regular dentist in Michigan. From the time I called, to the time I entered the building, to the time I left and every moment in between I felt nothing less than absolute kindness, compassion and understanding. Everyone at this office is SO nice! I felt completely at ease and everyone there made me feel welcome even though I was not a regular patient, but I was treated as if I was. Thank you Total Care!

I had a dental emergency and they got me in quickly ..On top of saving me on that part, they were all beyond amazing. From front desk to assistant and the dr himself. Kind, caring and compassionate and i am beyond grateful for that as i havent had the best experiences with dentists.. Will definitely be my family dentist.. I am not a fan of dentists due to past experiences and having a previous dislocated/broken jaw (not from dental services). From my first consultation and Xrays to having a wisdom tooth extracted, the whole process was easy. They did everything to make me feel at ease and explained every step and answered any question I had. Friendly and professional. Great staff! There was even a follow up call to check on me. I have finally found a dentist I feel comfortable with for further care and highly recommend.

I had my first appt. with Dr. Wollschlager and found him to be a receptive, learned and "what's best for the patient " doctor. I had spoken with his staff a few times prior to the appt. and they were compassionate, caring and quick to respond based on need. A referral was needed in my case, and Dr. Wollschlager explained why and a very detailed visual of the why. He nor his technician tried to do tests that would be repeated (and I charged twice) by the surgeon. I really appreciate being treated as though I have a brain and my pain matters. I highly, highly recommend taking advantage of Dr. Wollschlager's care. Thank you Andrea, I appreciate your help! Thanks ladies.

I had a wonderful first visit at Total Care Dental. I would have to say that the comprehensive evaluation exceeded my expectations with state of the art diagnostic tools and expert evaluation. I appreciate the advanced technology utilized by Dr. Wollschlager, the exceptionally clean environment, and the welcoming and caring attitude of every staff member. The very best in dental care.

When did dentistry become such a scam? Had to start a new relationship with a dentist since moving to Fla. Wanted an exam, basic X-rays, and get my teeth cleaned. Possibly a filling replaced. After getting a ridiculous exam with all this crazy technology, digital pix of my teeth, a full head X-ray, 30 minutes of poking my gums, no teeth cleaning, $395.00! Then off to the "consultation" office to give me my proposed dental treatment. $1750.00 to get my teeth cleaned and 2 caps which I don't need or want for a total of $6K. Wouldn't even consider my request of re-doing my filling. Gave me a couple of companies that would "finance" my dental work. My teeth are actually in great shape! If I'm going to finance $6000, I'm getting a used motorcycle! Needless to say. I'm not going back.
