Beware! Total care is a total money grab. I have spent thousands for what they assured me was "complete payment". Six months later they tell me I owe thousands more. I will never go here again and will never suggest anyone else go. There are other and better dentist to go to just down the street.

At this point, I am giving TCDW 2 stars, and that's me being generous. The 2 stars are for the fact that they were able to get us in fairly quickly. Now, in hindsight, we should have gone elsewhere. We took our 17 year old there for a check up. My wife wanted to go somewhere that was more holistic. Long story short, he had many cavities. We decided to let TCDW fill them and put the cap on. Big mistake... so far. After they were filled, he had pain for weeks after. I understand that there will be pain for several days or even a week, but several weeks later, while he had the temp cap on a tooth, he was in pain. This is a kid that has a high pain tolerance. We got back in for the permanent cap to be put on(this is after we had been back in to correct his bite with the temp cap). A week after that, the perm cap popped off. He's not a sticky candy eater either. So we go back in to have it put back on. It's on!! Yippy! We go on a Fall trip back East and two days into our trip, which was just a week or so after the perm cap was put on, it pops off!! So he's on a vacay with a stubble of a tooth and having to baby it the entire vacation.... Not cool. I know dentistry is not a perfect science. Nothing is. But I have have 3 caps put on my teeth and they have been stuck on my teeth for years!!!!! This is a review in the making. Happy to update my review if things improve.

Total care is awesome - they have brilliant doctors and specialists and they are helping my husband with many things. We are grateful we found them! However they often have poor patient manners and communication at the actual appointment, are late to appointments, make mistakes that could have been avoided if more care and attention were done the fist time, and sometimes seem to have little respect for the patients time. We totally get they are busy and we love what they are doing to help- but I wish they could be a little more respectful especially when patients are forking out massive amounts of time and money to get serious issues resolved.

The billing department is lacking. Big time! I wouldn't let them be responsible for my toddler nephew's piggy bank much less letting them work with my insurance. I highly do not recommend.

I wish I found Total Care Dental 10 years ago. They were amazing. For the first time ever I left the dentist with warm and fuzzy feelings, which hasn't been my experience with other dental offices in the past. Our dental hygienist was so very knowledgeable and sweet with my little girl. We also got to meet the pediatric dentist Dr. Jones. She was very knowledgeable, helpful and understanding. My experience was everything I hoped it would be and more. I will be telling everyone I know to go to their office.

The staff were very professional and gave detailed post-surgery instructions after my wife had an infection in her jaw cleaned out. The surgery was also done a lot earlier than expected, which was nice.

I'm probably one of their tougher cases. I'm so grateful for Dr Mishler and the wonderful staff who have encouraged and stayed with me through it all. Whenever I've had a question they get back to me. It's taking time, but I feel confident that my new implants with Dr. Mishler will be successful after having them fail a few years ago. He is gifted as well as meticulous in his work.

I happened to hear a podcast by Dr. Jorgensen and had the feeling that I needed set an appointment. I was hesitant because I wasn't sure if insurance would cover much, if any. I am so grateful I followed that feeling, meeting Dr. Jorgensen has been one of the greatest blessings of my life! She is one of my new favorite people. She is extremely knowledgeable, personable, encouraging, and did not make any claims or promises but brought me so much hope! We scheduled surgery to remove infection from the space where my wisdom teeth once were. It was my missing puzzle piece, everything finally started to fit together! The fact that I had been struggling with various difficulties for 16 years began to make sense. During the time period between my first appointment at Total Care Dental and my scheduled surgery, my health significantly declined. I ended up at the emergency room a number of times. The severity of my difficulties were quite alarming, leading us to consult many doctors and specialists to try to piece together what was happening inside of my body. I boggled all the professionals. Many said my difficulties were a result of psychosis. Multiple doctors stated from CT scans that there was no infection in my mouth, no infection in my body. We even went to a maxillofacial surgeon who specialized in jaw surgeries to get a second opinion of the infection Dr. Jorgensen discovered in my jaw. He reviewed the same CT scan that Dr. Jorgensen reviewed and stated that my jaw was perfectly healthy, that the scans showed absolutely no signs of infection. We had trust in Dr. Jorgensen and her area of expertise and decided to follow through with the surgery, after all, she was the only professional who had a plan to help me. She had knowledge from her area of expertise and a plan for healing, not ending with surgery, but for 4-6 weeks afterwards to help guide me in caring for my body in a way that fostered healing. Aside from this being her profession, she truly genuinely desired to help me heal. Dr. Jorgensen was following me all through my health difficulties leading up to surgery. She was on speed dial when we were heading to the hospital and was such a support to my husband and I. She also recommended some additional monitoring during surgery due to my physical decline. The team at Total Care Dental put every effort into making sure I was safe during the procedure. Surgery was a success! I was well cared for and felt better immediately following. All of my other physical difficulties became non-existent after surgery. The surgeon, Dr. Mishler, checked in on me for days following. I came into the clinic for additional IV antibiotics and Vitamin C, Dr. Mishler took extra time to check in on me and see how I was doing. Both Dr's Jorgensen and Mishler made the effort to connect with me while they were out of town to ensure I was doing alright. I cannot say enough about the care and concern shown to me! The biopsy of the infection removed from my jaw was extensive. My numbers were above and beyond the serious risk levels of infection. There was great reason for concern and the need to have the infection removed. I have learned that our bodies truly are incredible, they are designed to heal! If we are struggling we may lack the tools we need to fine tune our bodies in order to foster healing. If we fail to listen to the ways our bodies are speaking to us, our bodies may not be capable of speaking any longer. Hope for healing is never lost! Not every doctor has the answers we need, specific to our situation. I have been to countless doctors throughout the years who have stated that I am perfectly healthy, perfectly fine, all the numbers from every test are in working order, yet I have been very far from being healthy, very far from fine, very far from functioning optimally. Trust your instincts more than you trust any professional, after all, you are capable of being the greatest professional of your body.
