Dr. Jenny Miedema first arrived in Maine in 1994, when her father, a Navy Dentist, was stationed at Brunswick Naval Air Station. After graduating from Morse High School in Bath, ME, Jenny attended Dickinson College in Carlisle, PA where she earned a B.S. in both Biology and Psychology. Upon graduation, she spent 3 years in the Army Signal Corps. After traveling the world, Jenny decided to follow in her fathers footsteps to become a dentist. She was a member of the inaugural class at the University of New England College of Dental Medicine, graduating in 2017. After graduation, she then completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency at the VA Dental Clinic in Togus, ME. Following residency, Jenny continued to serve the veteran community by practicing at Togus as a staff dentist. Jenny is a compassionate dentist who enjoys building relationships with her patients so that she can better understand their dental needs and goals. She believes in cultivating a relaxing and gentle environment so that patients feel at ease while receiving dental treatment. Outside of dentistry, Jenny enjoys many of the outdoor activities that Maine has to offer. She loves golfing and skiing with her teenage son, Colten.
Dr. Shilo Annis is a native Mainer. Hes taken an interesting and circuitous path to become a dentist. Upon his graduation from Windham High School, he enlisted in the Army. During his time in the military, he was stationed in many locations around the world and spent several years as an Apache Helicopter Pilot. Eventually, Shilo went on to become a federal agent flying for Customs and Border Protection in San Diego.
While Dr. Annis will always value the time he spent in the Army, he found it important to look toward his home state to see how he could best be of service to his fellow Mainers. He returned to Maine to study at the University of Southern Maine. From there, he attended the University of New England and proudly graduated in the inaugural class of the College of Dental Medicine. Shilo is a compassionate and caring dentist in Buxton, Maine who envisions maintaining local practices where he can treat and serve local people for many years to come. In his free time, Dr. Annis enjoys a variety of activities and looks forward to spending time with his wife and two daughters. Yes, I enjoy making beautiful smiles. Moreover, I really enjoy helping someone that is anxious at the dentist become more relaxed and providing solutions for their concerns.
Angel lives close by in Hollis with her Husband. In her free time, she enjoys birdwatching, baking, and riding her motorcycle when Maine weather permits. As part of her efforts to stay physically active, she enjoys walking her dog and tending her garden.
Kathy has been employed at Tory Hill Dental since June of 2014. She has been a dental assistant now for over 30 years. What she enjoys most about her role is the variety of procedures that each day brings.
Kathy was born and raised in Manchester, NH. After graduating from the University of New Hampshire at Plymouth she moved to Maine. She married her husband in 1988 and settled in Windham. Kathy and her husband had a daughter in 1991 and out grew their condo. They bought a house in Buxton in 1993 when their son was born. They are now enjoying their granddaughter who was born in June of 2018. In her spare time, she loves to golf, walk and babysit.
Kelly graduated from Westbrook College in 1989 and has been practicing dental hygiene on a full-time basis ever since. She worked in Yarmouth for several years before joining Tory Hill Dental in 1996. Kelly has found dental hygiene both challenging and rewarding. Her goal is to treat each person individually and to set and obtain reasonable goals based on each persons individual circumstances.
Kelly lives in Baldwin with her husband and youngest son. Her oldest son is stationed in Washington state with the United States Coast Guard. Kelly enjoys her flower gardens, antiquing and turning junk into treasures.
Tina grew up in the Buxton area and graduated from Bonny Eagle High School. She received her Associate Degree in Dental Hygiene from New Hampshire Technical Institute in Concord, New Hampshire in 1989. After working for a short period of time in New Hampshire, she moved back to her hometown area in Maine. There, she was employed by Dr. Peter Larrabee, her own childhood dentist. She worked with Dr. Larrabee until his recent retirement and then joined Tory Hill Dental.
Tina lives in Biddeford with her son Matthew who is a student athlete at the University of Connecticut. Tina also teaches spin and boot camp classes at the XL Sports World in Saco. She has recently got involved in snowmobiling and ATVing. This activity has taken her all around the state of Maine.
Lisa has been a friendly face at Tory Hill Dental since the fall of 2011. In July of 2018 she was inducted as a Fellow to the American Association of Dental Office Management in San Antonio Texas. She proudly remains an active member of the AADOM tribe. Her goal here in the office is to incorporate the wealth of knowledge and customer service she has acquired to best serve our patients and their families.
She enjoys working with her caring and knowledgeable coworkers knowing as a team they will help our patients to achieve and maintain a beautiful, healthy smile they can be proud off. Lisa also takes pride in helping our patients with any questions they may have regarding their treatment plan, insurance or any financial needs. It is important to her that each patient share and enjoy the ease and confidence of our dedicated team.
Lisa lives in Dayton with her husband Rick, they share 4 boys, two fur-babies and a beautiful granddaughter Skyler. Some of Lisas favorite past times includes spending time with friends and family, weekends on Sebec Lake, hiking, gardening and traveling.
Brittany is the newest member of the Tory Hill Dental team and has recently joined the American Association of Dental Office Management. She is the first smiling face you see when you walk into the office. Previous to becoming our Business Administrator, Brittany worked in the medical field for many years. She is enjoying helping patients find a way to achieve their dental needs.
Brittany grew up in Biddeford and graduated from Biddeford High School. From there she attended Husson College in Bangor. She now lives in Saco with her Husband Tyler and two children Brady and Logan. They share their home with their rescue Lab Katie. When Brittany isnt working at the office you can find her coaching her four cheerleading teams, attending sporting events for her oldest Brady or visiting her husband at the fire station.

Update April 25, 2022: Dr. Doyon sold the practice. I've changed the rating from five stars to one star. Wild horses couldn't drag me back. ____________ Posted Two Years Ago: I've been to several other dentists in the Portland area and have shopped around. With the knowledge I've garnered from my dental hygiene education, Tory Hill Dental stands head and shoulders above the rest. Others claim to have the most up-to-date equipment to give the best service to their patients, but only Tory Hill delivers. The staff are great, and Dr. Doyon is the best. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

My experiences with Dr. Doyon, his Office personnel n Dental personnel has been Extremely Pleasant. They are Professional while making me feel Welcomed and Comfortable. I have been a patient here for 3 years, and have nothing but praise and gratitude for everyone at Tory Hill Dental. Friendly, skilled, and Dr Doyon even came in during a blizzard, on a weekend, during the pandemic, to replace a crown (that he had not put in originally). I am a very happy patient.

I started going to Tory hill dental several months ago, I started with a consultation with Dr Doyon (very through) he answered all of my questions, I was worried after years of neglect I would never have that smile that I wanted so badly. I was wrong thanks to Angel and Dr Doyon after several sessions with each of them, I can now smile at people and not be self conscious. We still have more work to do but I know I am in wonderful hands with these folks and looking forward to our journey together to a beautiful healthy smile.

Tory Hill Dental has been my go to dentist for over 30 years. Some of my adult children still come out to get their teeth cleaned even though they live in Portland and out of state. Dr.Doyan and his dental hygienists are friendly and professional. I would highly recommend their service to anyone.

I enjoy going to Tory Hill Dental. All of the staff there are very friendly. At each appointment I feel right at home and I like it that they include you on decisions about the health and care of your teeth. For instance I need a sealant placed on two of my teeth and I can wait till my next appointment to have that done. Dr. Doyon is very friendly as well. I was very upfront with him of how going to the dentist wasn't my favorite thing to do. Right from my first visit he made me feel very at ease. I would highly recommend this dental office to anyone who has anxiety about going to the dentist. At Tory Hill dental they treat you like family.

Excellent service and kind/gentle dentistry. Doctor Doyon is someone that I would highly recommend. He does a great job with repairing teeth and replacing fillings. He did a same day crown replacement for me that was excellent. The crown is great and his dentistry was very good! Also, his office staff and hygienist staff are very nice and customer friendly!

Tory Hill Dental is THE BEST!!! Dr. Doyon has kept my teeth healthy. I went to Dr. Doyon in Portland then could only have him work on my teeth so followed him to Buxton. Angel, my hygienist has kept my mouth healthy. I appreciate the fact that I can call the team for any concern I have. Each member at Tory Hill Dental treats me with the utmost respect.
