Dr. Torrejon has practiced dentistry for almost 30 years. He has a love of working with and helping people, and a desire to continue the legacy of his father, Jorge Torrejon Sr., who practiced dentistry for 55 years.
Dr. Torrejon attended Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal Facultad de Odontologa in Peru, where he was awarded his Doctorate of Dental Surgery. He later completed a two-year Academy of General Dentistry Mastership Preparation Course and Comprehensive Dentistry Program through the University of Florida.
For Dr. Torrejon, relieving dental pain, restoring function, and improving a smile painlessly are all satisfying processes. He wants his patients to feel comfortable throughout procedures and safe in his gentle hands. In taking time to learn what a person wants from treatment, and seeking to understand their concerns as well, he shows his patient that he cares about them, personally.
Throughout the year, Dr. Torrejon participates in numerous continuing educational events. He attends meetings, seminars, and lectures, and keeps current on research and discussion of emerging trends through peer-reviewed journals.
In addition to developments in general dentistry and technology, Dr. Torrejon is drawn to dental implants, as well as aesthetic dentistry. He avidly seeks out courses and additional training in these two areas.
Originally from Lima, Peru, Dr. Torrejon has resided with his family in Delray Beach for over 20 years. He and his wife, Jessica, who manages the dental office, moved to Florida over 25 years ago, so he could pursue his dental dream in the US.
The couple has two sons: Alvaro, the eldest, is attending Dental School at the University of Florida; Rodrigo, the younger son, is attending Baldwin Wallace University in Ohio, studying Music Theater.
Dr. Torrejon is dedicated to his family and spends as much time with them as he can. They enjoy traveling together when their schedules line up. He also makes time to practice soccer twice a week: hes done so for the past 12 years!

I would give Dr. Torrejon's office my highest recommendation! Dr.Torrejon and his staff are extremely professional and truly care about their patients. As a local orthodontist, I have had the opportunity to get feedback from many of his patients and it has all been positive. DDS Jorge is the absolute best Dentist I have ever been to in my entire life and boy have I been to a lot of them. He could tell from the start that I was nervous to be there, but had to be there as 1 of my implants had unscrewed. Dr and his assistant immediately put me at ease, and even made the x-ray and 3D scan an enjoyable experience. True Experts at work. Proceeded to point out my issues and explain each one, then together we went through treatment options while allowing me to view my mouth and jaw in 3D. They debunked my previous dentist (God am I so happy I didn't like that 1, she would have messed up my mouth for life). I said, other dentist said this was a bad cavity and had to remove tooth and that my bone wasnt strong enough for another implant...that cow only wanted my $$...DOC showed me there was no cavity and my bone was strong. *remember, it's your mouth, if dentist is pushing things on you and not all sounds right - get a 2nd opinion. I am thrilled that I did. Than he and his lovely assistant, proceeded to fix my fallen implant, gently remove the bacterium that had formed in the open hole, and during the whole process their bed side manner put me at true ease. I almost forgot I was at a DDS. Understand, I have broken expensive dental chairs in the past from dentists ignoring my pain levels stemming from my nerves. Doc, was the opposite, more concerned with my comfort than seemingly anything else Together, he and his assistant fixed my implant, restored my faith in humanity and gave me reasons to smile again + the added ability to chew. His office was immaculate, and everyone that worked there was polite, understanding and professional. I've already booked my next appointment and immediately notified my wife, mother, and friends that they all will be switching to DDS Torrejon. Thank you!

Overall great. BUT, the doctor doesn't even examine at my yearly exams! Stands across the room and tell me to open my mouth and then says everything is ok. That's not an exam.

I have been coming here for years. Dr T is patient and takes the time to LISTEN...something rare in Drs. I also like that he gives me a range of costs associated with different types of repair: caps, crowns, etc. Everyone there has always been nice to me.

Dr. Torregon is a wonderful Dentist with a great touch, and his communication is girst class! .I've been going to Dr. Torregon's office since 2007 and I recommend that if you're not happy with your dentist for cost too high, cancelled appts., or fir any reason then call and change your Dentist to Dr. Torregon. Even his hygenist and the dental assistants are a pleasure to get to know and they make you feel important!
