Dr. Steve Yabuno has provided quality dental care to his patients for thirty-three years. He opened his dental office in Torrance in 1981 and has since served his community as a caring and comprehensive dentist.
After majoring in Biochemistry at UCLA, Dr. Yabuno attended the UCLA School of Dentistry and graduated in 1980. To further refine his skills, he subsequently completed a one year residency at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Long Beach.
Dr. Yabuno's commitment to providing the highest standard of care is evident in his constant pursuit of excellence and post-doctoral study. A member in good standing of the American Dental Association, the California Dental Association, and the Western Dental Society, Dr. Yabuno continues to take advanced courses in dental aesthetics, sleep apnea, and sedation dentistry.

He has been married for twenty-four years and is the proud father of three children. When Dr. Yabuno is not busy reading dental journals, he enjoys swimming, weight training, biking, fishing, and traveling.
When Dr. Kenigsberg was just eight years old, she and her family immigrated to Los Angeles from Belarus. She attended UCLA before pursuing her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree at Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. She then pursued her Advanced Education in Periodontics at the NYU College of Dentistry. Today, shes been working in dentistry for five years and counting, first joining Dr. Yabunos dental office in July of 2015. Her favorite part of her new position is getting to work with such an amazing team as she addresses the periodontal needs of the community!
Dr. Kenigsberg actually met her husband while she attending dental school in New York. Like her, he was an immigrant who moved to Brooklyn, NY from Ukraine with his family when he was seven years old. Together, they lived in New York for eight years together and had a beautiful daughter named Renee there. In October of 2015, they decided to move to Los Angeles, where their second daughter Nicole was born. She holds great pride in her career and her family. Outside of work, her daughters are her biggest interest, and she loves walking with them, playing dress up and pretend, and traveling. She also enjoys going to the theatre and running. Coffee is something she is very particular about, and she would love to open her own boutique coffee shop one day.

I have been seeing Dr. Yabuno for several years. Why? He is the gentlest dentist I have ever experienced. When I had a cavity (yes, at my age) he used a topical in my gums before injecting the Novocain to make sure I felt ZERO pain. His exams are also very gentle and my comfort is always top priority. This is also seen in his staff. His hygienists are all very good, very thorough, very prompt, very kind. I highly recommend Dr. Yabuno to all my friends!

Excellent Dental office with a super friendly and kind staff. Dr. Wong is above and beyond, a superlative! She's always been super caring, is delicate in her work and very thorough! On one visit, she discovered a small abnormal growth on my palate which ended up being Salivary Gland Cancer. Because of her effort, I was able to get it treated and I'm now cancer free! Her discernment, skill and passion for a patient's health saved my life! I've been coming here for years and it's always fun. It's a great office and they do great work!

Dr. Yabuno practices dentistry as both a science and an art. Yesterday he beautifully restored my front tooth. I have been a patient for 28 years and am a relentless tooth "tapper." Doctor Yabuno is personable and very near painless. I had a dentist when I was a child who I swore must've been Satan's right arm but Dr Yabuno and his staff have been nothing but kind and pleasant. Admittedly, no one likes to go to the dentist but the experience here is as good as it gets. I have been going there for years and I am intending to continue in the future.

I've been going to Dr. Yabuno's office for over 40 years. We started with Dr. French, then as the family grew we started seeing Dr. Yabuno.
