She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology and Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of California at Irvine before graduating from the University of Southern California with her Degree in Dental Surgery in 1988.
In Partnership with her husband, Dr. Trent Torgersen, she has been in Private Practice in Camarillo since 1990. Dr. Gina Torgersen is a member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association and member of the International Association of Dentists.
Dr. Trent Torgersen was born in Southern California and graduated from Simi Valley High School. His father was a longtime dentist in Simi Valley - having established his practice on Royal Avenue in 1962.
Dr. Trent Torgersen received his Doctor of Dental Surgery Degree from the University of Southern California, School of Dentistry in 1988 and joined his fathers practice upon graduation. When his father retired in 2000, he purchased the practice and now works out of both the Simi Valley and Camarillo offices.
For over 22 years, Dr. Torgersen has been a member in good standing of the California Dental Association and American Dental Association. His Dental Implant education has included membership in the Academy of Osseointegration.

Dr Gina and her staff are amazing. I have been seeing her for about 10 years. From my very first appointment I knew she was a dentist that I could trust. She has helped me keep my teeth healthy and always addresses any concerns I may have. She is always friendly and upbeat. The office is very clean and comfortable. That is especially important throughout this pandemic. If you are looking for a dentist that has your best interest in mind then you have to go visit Dr. Gina. She truly cares.

I've been seeing Dr. Gina Torgersen for over 25 years. She's been wonderful, always cheerful and, most importantly, takes perfect care of my teeth. I've never had a problem with any of the treatments done. I wouldn't consider seeing anyone else. In fact, I drive from Lakewood to Camarillo twice a year for my checkups.

I have been going to Dr. Gina for over 15 years. Both my kids and husband, too. She is honest and thorough and makes going to the dentist not so terrible, especially for my kids, because let's face it, going to the dentist is not fun! Her staff has always been kind and courteous. Her office is very clean and calming.

Horrible customer service rushed service not friendly. Did not explain diagnostics or options for treatments. Sought second opinion from another dentist and was not surprised that Gina's expensive prognoses was not accurate. Out for the money only beware!

This dentist does a great job. They are pretty quick with dental repairs and are experienced. Gina and Selina (Selina may be incorrect spelling) in particular are fantastic. They came in pretty early on a holiday that the office is normally closed due to my temporary crown popping off. I was able to be in and out in about 30mins and continued with my work day. Thank you guys!!
